I'm almost to 700k. I think I play more than the average player, but my son had the nerve to get married on Double XP weekend.

It is really disappointing this year. The forums have devolved into a pit of despair. I'm enjoying gameplay (in general), but disappointed in lack of "content". The SDS forum moderators are gone. I remember when I first started posting here in 2020, people were really helpful and there were a lot of "fun" threads. Now, most threads just sink into yelling matches. Sad. I don't know where SDS's head is at.

@jaychvz_XBL I'm an old fart (turned 60 this year). I'm ok at the game. I usually play RS in the 600's. Not great, but not horrible. For BR, I'll win 5-6 games in an entry (or sometimes... None... Lol). I play all my offline on All-Star.

I'm definitely not the player I was in my 20's. I would love to take my 20-year-old self and see if I could make World Series. Probably not... But I'm so curious.

I literally said the exact same thing to my wife last weekend (this is @arvcpa by the way). I've played a little RS, I'm about 1/3 of the way through BR, 1/4 of the way through the USA map, and 1/4 of the way through the "main" Mini-Season. I did the Jeter program.

And... I'm not feeling it either. I don't rush to play the game as I used to do in prior years. For me, it's probably playing a ton in the past 4 years. That's OK. I'll just slow-roll it and see how the year plays out. Maybe there will be a new program I'm interested in.

I'm trying to be realistic since the regular season gets in gear this week. Maybe I'll get more excited.

Also... call me when they develop a true Next-Gen version... I'll be collecting Social Security by then.

This is about it...

L: Mini season stats. It can't be that hard to reset and calculate each season's stats correctly. I mean... You have to get stats right. This is baseball after all.

As an average player who plays online sometimes, I took a look at the Moonshot Event missions. And... this GEM:

"HR Allowed with Moonshot Pitchers" - give up 15 HR with the new Common pitchers (Glavine, Miller, etc.)

Easiest 5 points EVER.

I've got to hand it to SDS on this one. Made my day.

100th. It is TERRIBLE.

The best part for me... entering a Mini-season game, the lineups are blank. Then, there's a cut-scene of my pitcher (Card's Captain Wacha) talking to the catcher... who comes up to Wacha's waist. He's literally 3 feet tall.

It's funny you say this, because I wouldn't consider myself a bad player, but I haven't gotten one either. I'd say load up a giant park - Polo Grounds if you have it, or maybe San Francisco. I get a lot of weird bounces in SF.

Man, I try to not to bash SDS too much. But... when I pulled up the program, first off, the player images didn't display. I hovered over the card, and when I saw an 88 Trout, I thought I was being trolled. Then... an 88 Ohtani? What are we doing here? I'm all for "Season Awards", but give us some juiced cards of lower end guys. Colt Keith? Yes! A sub-par Trout? No thank you.

I'm just speechless at this point.

Edit: I just realized we have to buy some of these cards? Yikes. Massive "L".

In the long run, the trend is almost always down for the 90+ diamonds. Like others said, you may get a spike here or there due to a stub sale...

P.S. I actually enjoy my free 88 Trout from the "Season Award" series.
