So I'm wondering if anyone knows how SDS rates speed? Because sometimes even 99 speed guys feel slow. Perfect example I was playing a guy with Finest Trea Turner I had Mike Piazza catching dude got a Perfect jump and yet I still threw him out and on replay it wasn't really a close play. Like I'm sorry but IRL Piazza wouldn't catch Turner stealing (I grew up watching him and his stats are reasonably accurate) but also guys like Mookie Betts should be way faster than what they give not 99 but mid to high 80's if not lower 90's. Unpopular opinion they hose Cody Bellinger on speed every year. Granted he wasn't great in 21 but the man has a freak lower body injury that couldn't have been pleasant to run on the year coupled with his body trying to compensate and injuring other parts of his body yes his speed was accurate but his MVP/Finest he was in the top 70 players which is going based off the 26 man roster was in the top 9% of players like that rates at least 88 speed. His stealing is accurate. But what are your thoughts I feel they hose a lot of guys on speed

Dodgers fan here so I'm pumped to see Gibson in Dodger Blue. However as a baseball fan SDS needs to give his Detroit fan base some love. Based on how they are hyping him up Gibson will get a Dodgers MVP, 255 HRs is nothing to scoff at but what I hope they do is give him a low tier diamond early like maybe a Veteran or breakout Detroit card 88-91 then a mid tier 95-97 Prime Detroit card capped off with the Dodgers 99 MVP from 88. And he will have decent speed and stealing as well with almost 300 stolen bases. I hope they do right by both fan bases. Or what they could do is make him an evolution card that has quite a few cards like Miggy and Scherzer had. Either way he will be on my All time Dodgers team build no matter what card his best is

So when I adjust my ballplayer's equipment it doesn't save even when I exit correctly. My example is my batting gloves I change my appearance so he has both gloves but after I change one thing it changes to only one glove again, even if I don't change anything it still doesn't save. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong???

As much as I hate to agree with this I do. I am active duty military so I don't have a lot of time to dedicate to playing MLBTS as I have friends I play other games with. however because people only have to get 30 Ws I find myself get early rage quits and can't get better at the game so when I do face someone who is good or has been able to put in some work i get shelled. In Aug of last year I went on a ship for a deployment got sent back on emergency leave so my stats set all the way back to the lowest I played 3-4 games one night and actually played only 2. Because my first couple opponents quit early. One of them I struck out the side and he quit, next one hit a first pitch in the hole and he quit, then faced a decent player who took an early lead but I fought back and he eventually quit, then I faced a good player and he mercy ruled me. So yea I agree make RS competitive again. Give those of us with little time the ability to get the good cards but make them unsellable.

Even though it seems like a joke post I'm gonna be real. Most are guys I got to see pitch so take this with a grain of salt.
#1. Clayton Kershaw
#2. Walker Buehler
#3. Eric Gagne
#4. Nolan Ryan (didn't see him play but it's Nolan Ryan)
#5. Randy Johnson (I'm 6'7 and left handed so that's a big reason to this pick also he was just nasty on the mound) -
Please bare with me as I have a lot to say.
So I will say this, compared to other iterations of RTTS this year is sub par, while DD is very popular RTTS is their most popular game mode l. That being said, DD is becoming more popular every year. Now to the topic at hand, SDS basically hit the reboot button with TS21 and they absolutely had to, I've play TS since 17 it's had its ups and downs however with the pandemic drastically slowing production and with the fact that they had to build 4 different versions of the game its understandable that they messed somethings up. This year they had to build not just PS4, but also PS5, Xbox one, and the new Xbox Series S and X. They also implemented brand new features into the game like Create a Stadium and the new 2-way ballplayer, but they also tied RTTS and DD together via the ballplayer, all things considered I think with all the limitations from the pandemic and expansion into Xbox I feel SDS did a pretty good job. Like I said this was SDS hitting the reboot button MLB TS 21 is basically MLB TS 1 now they have a new framework to build off of, next year they can make adjustments to their weaker points like the ballplayer, RTTS has major bugs and the ballplayer in DD is broken there are only a few Archetypes and it's a pain to actually use your ballplayer in a "secondary position" I feel that next year they should implement 10 Archetypes 1 for each position with the gold and diamond levels having different pros and cons or make it so that the ballplayer can actually play those secondary position with only the secondary position negative. My example is my ballplayer with the Crime Dog Archetype (3B primary) he has 99 fielding but when I put him at first I get the OOP negative and he makes routine errors I've learned how to negate the effects of errors somewhat but a lot of people like to put themselves in the game I model myself after myself IRL I'm 6'7 and left handed, I've played every possible position on the field (all adult leagues) so I don't mind being a lefty 3B however my primary position is first base (you could ask anyone on my team who they would rather have at first base and regardless of all our other first baseman the entire team will all say they want me there) I'm not on par with a Major league 1B but I don't have the time to put in the work to be that good if I hadn't given up on baseball and actually tried to do something with it I could have been but I digress and am rambling. I'll say this I'm content with this year's game it's not an amazing game but it is the best sports game in my opinion and that's simply because it's not only pay to win the yes paying will get you there faster but you have the opportunity to get the best cards in the game absolutely free and they even implemented the BR and Ranked programs to even further that cause. I'll end with this. This is the new game and they have rebooted the franchise and increased their revenue which will help them get better equipment to design the game and it will also help them get more legends

To further reinforce my previous post. I watch a few YouTubers and most of them end up having to play upto 3 or 4 games per video just to keep content going because they get early rage quits it honestly hurting the game and community. I understand why the did that, some of us don't have the time to dedicate to the game like myself being in the military, I know if I had the time I could get good enough to make WS but sadly I don't have the time especially for 21 but if they made the cards unsellable I'd be perfectly fine with that

He actually did have a couple different motions throughout his career most pitchers end up adjusting their delivery later in their career to account for their body it may not be massive but there are differences in delivery. With randy it wouldn't be noticeable on the 2 cards we have but if he had a SF card that's where the differences would be. But I agree his arm slot and leg kick are both off I heard his delivery is just Generic 56 I believe can't remember the number but I was one of the Generic deliveries and that actually confirmed as there is no Randy Johnson delivery in the former players deliveries for the ballplayer. Which they will need to fix if they want to keep their fans happy and coming back

I plan to complete the Dodgers collection day one as they are my team and will be one of the teams with the most diamonds. Then ill work what ever other diamonds I need if possible then start grinding myself (my ballplayer) through vs CPU and RTTS. Then I'm gonna teach my buddy how to play Via Co-Op ). After that I'll just wing it

Just a list of a few things I'd like to see added in future games including 23
-
More cards with the pick off perk (AS Kershaw had it but none of his other cards did and Kershaw has one of the better moves in the MLB) or make pick off an attribute that is part of the pitcher's fielding (with the DH coming into play it could replace hitting stats)
-
This one is a bit different but would make it more realistic, if a ball is in the dirt the runners should take a couple extra steps if the have high Base Running Aggressiveness, if the catcher has high AS they have a chance to pick the runners off
-
If you get a perfect throw on a pick off attempt with a catcher the throw is more likely to pick off the runner the chance goes up with higher AS
-
A perk for utility players that IRL have just as good defense at all positions that allow then to not have a secondary penalty (not many players would have it but it could be called "Super Utility")
-
Runners with high base Running Aggressiveness are more likely to get picked off (if the pitcher has pickoff perk or if it's an Attribute and is high the chance goes up)
These are just some of things I'd like to see added
What are your thoughts? And what would you guys like to see added?
