this one was at the transition of the end of an infield play to the next batter. I threw over to 3B to hold the runner there after a ground out to 1B. The play was called dead after a few seconds, but screen never changed to the next batter up. just sat there at 3B.

I think it is also funny that all the best rewards come at the final stages of prestige levels... and at that point, you don't need or care about any of them... you have most likely made the collection by then (I made it at 65 and had the absolute worst luck pulling diamonds this year)...

So I don't really care about the 90+ high diamond live, the 5 ballin is a habit packs, and the 30k stubs rewards now. I needed all that 50 prestige levels ago.

ya, I know eventually they start doing the "finest" and All star cards about mid to second half of real MLB season... thats usually when I stop playing as the game loses value when everyone has the exact same team every matchup. But I hope they hold off for at least another month before the flood of 99's.

I feel the more 99's they have then teams are more diverse... If there are only (1) 99 per position, then everyone will have the same team. Also, anything to upstage these dumb FS cards will be nice.

Ya I feel ya on that. I want to have more player diversity in matchups, and see different pitchers more often, etc.
I have two suggestions to SDS to make this more prevalent:

Make 99's harder to achieve and not available on the market. (like in 2018 when the 99's were (at first) only achievable by completing ridiculous amounts of accomplishments that I actually enjoyed trying to get through.

Offer incentive to those that play RS with a handicap. Ex:
If my "team rating" is an overall 75 and I am playing someone with an overall 95, I think it would be cool to get additional XP, or to have a higher chance of post game reward if I beat them. Something like that. We would see a lot more customized teams. Gold and Silvers would have value again and we would see more people show up in online games with them.

No and no. Two of the worst things about the game in years past. Just no.

Nope. Not mad at all. Just think it's ridiculous. Pretty sure Alec Bohm at home playing the show thinking its pretty ridiculous too. Giving the bird to Nolan Arenado and Mike Schmidt. But Im fine with any card you want to give me. You can slap Trump's name on a 99 and Ill play.

Live series cards are always underrated by about 3-5 overall points. It's one of my gripes. Think about it, how is Trout not a 99? His career is historic to this point and he's still in his prime.

No, its a separate card and all stats reset. Might as well be a different player except you can only have one in your lineup

I actually had a 5-7 2xHR 4XBH game with him in game 4 of that moment (the game ended 21-5!). I had already accounted for the 2 HRs in game 1. Granted, it was my second run through, but it helped to focus on sitting on the curveballs to hit the XBH/HRs.

That 87 Klesko card has an online OPS of .980 so I just couldn't replace him yet with Minoso. Funny that Helton 91 and Klesko 87 are my two best performers on that team.

So......what got you the most xp? Or are you literally playing 12 hours a day?

I have put some hours in, yes... but if you want to grind XP, you complete everything that gives bonus xp (Moments, Showdowns, Collections, Conquest) once you have done all the '1 and done' items that give bonus XP, you grind conquest and play only the home base games on HoF or Legend. Ive completed the USA map quite a few times now... and if you do it with all one team, you can grind those team affinity innings and player challenges along the way.

Ok cool. I can't stomach offline. I pretty much play ranked seasons strictly. I will play events once there are good rewards.

I didn't realize there were cumulative awards in events this year that are point driven like 1st inning style, so now I am grinding the events game with all one team to work the affinity and the event rewards at the same time.
Trying to get to 1 million stubs (the cost of all the diamonds I still have to buy to complete the entire collection)

Its good you have a goal in mind. I kove sheffield. Mays is great. Biggio is a pinch hitter. Def worth it though.

I've never understood throwing shade at people who either don't have the time or have disposable income to blow on stubs. More power to them.

don't get me wrong. Not trying to throw shade. If people want to spend money, they have a right to, I get it. Can't be upset at the guy that buys the first class ticket because he can.
But I see if from a competitors perspective too. Like saying that I still want to be the best at something without putting in time or effort.

I give more credit/respect to people that earn their team is all. Doesn't mean I hate those that don't.

So does this mean that I have the same odds of conquest 3 inning Hall of Fame as I do a 9 inning vs CPU Hall of fame? If so, grinding conquest would be much more worthwhile than cpu games.

Yes it is better 3 post game rewards at the same odds as 1 from a 9 inning game gives you a better chance. That being said the odds are so low that you will be able to sell all the common players you get and buy which card you want before you get a diamond post game reward

Makes sense. I just figure if grinding for xp/stubs/ 1st inning points/ team affinity already... might as well do it all with the one game that has a tiny higher chance (or offers more for less innings of work).

I did hit a diamond in a post game of conquest on hall of fame difficulty. This is what sparked the question to start with.

wow, a good/good power hit makes it out. this system makes no sense to me. A perfect/perfect that just flies out and a good/good that goes yard? oh well... moving on. advice to those doing this objective... dont time it perfectly or you hit it straight (longest part of the field), to pass this, you have to be early or late and find a shorter fence... makes sense in real life i guess... the perfect/perfect thing doesn't
