DQ is profitable the first few hours after one drops. After that it’s only to get the card for collections.
@Onix_Savage22_PSN I didn’t ask for advice. I’m a big boy and know the rules. As I said until I saw one I didn’t believe it. Call me Thomas, but I had to put my fingers in the holes on this one.
@theBlindRhino_PSN traded him for a decent setup man, yeah I guess the pirates lost that trade.
The bots exist. When you run into one it’s obvious. I’ve also found where one can download and deploy one. I don’t do it, but I found them as confirmation.
He walked two and should have been out of the inning with 2 runs given up. That is it. Cruz is no good at baseball. Pirates fans have known this forever. He has attributes that make you go wow, but he has a cement head.
I like the content so far. WBC was a perfect start to the year and SDS giving those cards progress for the team affinity of the players was thoughtful and appreciated.
The UI has been a learning curve, but is nice for the most part.
Screen blur has been useful at places like Forbes Field where you have no batters eye, I turn it off at most places.
Stick sensitivity is a nice nod to the players. I’ve been using the foam precision rings for about a year and still prefer them. But, like the blurred back drop it is a nice move by SDS.
I haven’t played too much online yet, as I have been grinding to build packs/stubs. But the limited time I’ve played was fine.
The lack of home runs in those online games made for great game play that I enjoyed much more than when it’s a race to hit solo hrs to win. I know the game as it is playing right now doesn’t reflect MLB’s irl meta, but it has been enjoyable for me. I’m certain the power creep will start to change that, but still worth noting.
There are a few things I dislike that have been implemented, but I’ll keep them to myself so this thread isn’t invaded by the mob who shouts dissension down elsewhere.
One thing I will bite my displeasure about is the lack of exposure of the NLB player’s storylines. For years they have been well-done and important to educate people on the feats, challenges and lives of fantastic ball players. This year the production value is just as good as years past, but within DD it is almost as if it doesn’t exist. Like it’s another league altogether and someone just picking up the game this year may never even know they are there. I wish they had NLB team affinity programs and rewards to make these cards more visible and drive folks to complete the storylines.
@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN case in point.
@xero4019_XBL same five guys all over the place.
They have the same line of thinking that it’s always someone else’s fault for their lot in life. This month it’s “investors” who’s next?
The market is healthy!
They told us they were starting with it off and would make adjustments as necessary. I doubt we hear anything about it until the next stream. And even then, who knows?
I find CBrev going through performative praise of a pirate funny. Two weeks prior to that stream he didn’t know Konnor’s name in a live stream. They should have just skipped Griffen all together and went with another Yankee.
@Easy_Duhz_It__PSN ad hominem logic?
So trashing a move by SDS, the producers of the only mlb baseball game on the market was influenced by who’s dollar, cui bono?
Here is IGN’s take on the changes, maybe the five guys who shout everyone down on this board can go over there and try to shout down IGN, “But what's changed, and not for the better, is a quietly introduced 20-card ownership limit that wasn't disclosed before launch. If you relied on card flipping and roster-update investing as part of the free-to-play grind — one of the most accessible paths to building a competitive team without spending — this directly undermines your strategy. The lack of transparency around it is a bad look, and it's hard not to read it as a nudge toward spending real money.”
But remember the thousands of hours I played this game in the past weren’t enough and that the market is healthy!
The market is healthy!
The market is healthy! Bots aren’t ruining anything.
The market is healthy!@lord-oimak_mlbts the market is healthy!
It is tiring seeing the same five people attempt to shout anyone down.
@AxiomEnigma_XBL who? I am on your side bud. But I am not dealing with these blowhards who know everything and shout you down. Let the rump rangers enjoy the “healthy market”. lol, those of us who know have already figured out other ways to make stubs when we are away from our monitors. Screw these clowns.
