Looks like SDS is fully aware of the bad game play (which is getting worse) and mailed it in. Hopefully they are putting all of there resources into getting '22 right.
One would hope, but don't hold your breath I'm sure it will just be more of the same.
Debating even bothering with next season. I'll end up with all of the collection cards on this one. Game play is so shoddy. Dont swing at a bad pitch with a runner on 1b. Itll be a double play bc every, single ground ball goes directly at someone without fail. Lately, dont hit a perfect/perfect as that to will go right at someone. I dont know what they are doing but, with a God squad, vs pc, the games should be lop sided. Not a 2 to 0 yawner with 56 rated pitchers freaking dotting with unreal movement on their pitches. Its sad. So, yea, not holding my breath. Just... hopeful that they actually see it.
I'll probably end up getting it again but seeing that I have every card this year I won't care so much next year I don't think.
I definitely won't be pre ordering this time but I'm sure SDS will add a new player like Jeter and people will come running back no matter what the state of gameplay is.
I'm so happy to be done with moments for the most part this year though because I'm not sure my controller could have survived another get 8 bases in a game where the pitcher throws so far off the plate it hits the batter.
What concerns me, the most, is how can 2017 game play, 2016 game play, be better than 2021 game play. Its going in the wrong direction. I think I know why. And it may be out of the control of SDS with all honesty. But it doesn't help matters when you dam well know that you have seen much better game play.
