First week of this game it played correctly. It played correctly up to patch 1.04. What a breath of fresh air. FIX YOUR GAME SDS!!
I just completed the Championship Round Moments. I opened the pack and I have 8 commons? Excuse me?? Is this a joke??

This game is playing like trash. Play by play they didnt work on at all. It's the same, exact, track as '19. Hitting is a mess. As is pitching. As is fielding. There is zero communication from this Studio. If they arent working due to this virus then communicate as much. Rather foolish though to leave your customer base with this current product. Aside from, I'm worn out by this. Zero fun.
I just dont understand why they go through beta, and etc if they are, in the end, going to ignore all data, then ignore customer complaints, only to go back to the [censored] show '19. In the end, that is the game we are playing. It's just rebranded to '20.

I love MLB the Show, I invest a lot of money in the game every year. Purchased Mantle this year already. Even if you don’t spend a dime other than the initial game purchase, you deserve to speak your mind. You also deserve a product that works.
The first few days of this game were fun. Everyone was having fun other than 1% of the game population.
Now 99% of the players hate it.
Just revert the patch to launch day SDS. Bring back the game you tested. It was the most fun people had with the Show in YEARS.
This current game doesn’t make sense and if playing terrible.

i went 102-24 in the event and currently 20-3 in ranked and have played a ton of chrome league games with friends on HoF and no matter what update they come out with i’m still a top tier player.. learn to adjust instead of complaining

As much money that is given to this Studio via stubs, via just games bought, how is it that they do not feel inclined to put out a better product? Game play wise, both '16 and '17 are far better than this game. I dont understand.

9 Month crunch schedule to develop a game will do that. That has always been the issue with yearly games.
So they didnt have to contest with that in '16 and '17? If it's a strain then they need to increase their staff. It is not a valid excuse. Nor is lack of any communication with their customer base. I have not seen this many unhappy people, with their product, in awhile, if ever? Normally I am vehemently against this type of outrage because I find it to be sheep mentality. But, in this case.... Its justified. This game play is rough.
I put this game down about two months ago. I keep checking here to see if anything gets fixed and itd be perhaps playable. Right about here is my answer. That sucks. SDS has dropped the ball with this game. Put the thing down. Get outside. Get in the gym. Do something productive. You'll feel better.

While I somewhat agree with what you are saying and it may be the case, I am still seeing poor feedback (good/okay) for diamonds on balls in the center of the pci. Results just are not making any sense, where they were during the first week.

I'm really glad folks are starting to catch on. They've been compromising gameplay to push stubs ever since '17, though this latest change is by far the most blatant.
There is no more denying this. They will not get another dollar from me.

Most of the people complaining weren’t even at DS yet. The game has always been high scoring on All Star.
They should have waited 30 days before touching it other than bugs
The game they spent all year testing was actually good.
The game we have now does not feel natural when you’re playing. It did the first few days.
I cant say it any better. If they dont revert it they are going to lose money. I know I'm not this bad of a player. But, right now, I most definitely am and there is no getting around it. The timing window is messed up. The pitches are coming in so fast that I dont have enough hand, eye coordination to adjust and do anything with it. It's that simple.

Dev's haven't replied to anything all cycle. Why would they start now? They know they broke their game when they put out patch 1.04.

This game has been a hot mess the entire cycle. Best thing I've done this cycle is to put the thing down. Stop playing it. Problem solved.
Pretty sure we are just looking at a group of developers, along with decision makers at the top, who have forgotten, or became too lazy, though it could be incompetence, to put out a solid game.
Let us hope that they have been testing it out and that this is it. SDS. You backed up your tweet stating, "We are listening." Thank you for that. This game can be really good. You showed us as much at release. We hope that you got this right.
How some of these parks haven't been fixed.... Especially Baltimore.
