Stop spreading this nonsense. You have your own thread for this gripe and many others have weighed in directly disputing this claim. Plenty of issues with the game play, pitch speeds on all star being too fast for you doesn't need to be a thing.

It is a thing when they make such a large change and when you being up something that I have a relevant feeling about I'm gonna let you know. Today is the first time i have ever posted anywhere. I'm upset they messed up the game and your gonna hear about it when you try to say stop complaining. I have a valid point and until SDS changes it you will hear about it.

This game is playing terrible.
I’m 21-6 in ranked and quit the event with 100 wins. Have enough time playing it to say it’s not fun at all
I love MLB the Show, I invest a lot of money in the game every year. Purchased Mantle this year already. Even if you don’t spend a dime other than the initial game purchase, you deserve to speak your mind. You also deserve a product that works.
The first few days of this game were fun. Everyone was having fun other than 1% of the game population.
Now 99% of the players hate it.
Just revert the patch to launch day SDS. Bring back the game you tested. It was the most fun people had with the Show in YEARS.
This current game doesn’t make sense and if playing terrible.
If you say it’s not playing bad, you’re being dishonest.

Why is it that every year the show becomes a great game in august or September when half the users quit playing

Most of the people complaining weren’t even at DS yet. The game has always been high scoring on All Star.
They should have waited 30 days before touching it other than bugs
The game they spent all year testing was actually good.
The game we have now does not feel natural when you’re playing. It did the first few days.

pitch speeds and pitch control needed to be adjusted, no one asked for hitting to be adjusted. That being said, when the game enforces hangers it's obviously going to be easier to hit, now people can't just wait and rely on the hanger every AB.

Wrong. Hangers are a big issue but they never should have touched hitting. If it was too slow for people, hit homeruns, win games, and get to a higher level where you feel like it's more difficult.

I cant say it any better. If they dont revert it they are going to lose money. I know I'm not this bad of a player. But, right now, I most definitely am and there is no getting around it. The timing window is messed up. The pitches are coming in so fast that I dont have enough hand, eye coordination to adjust and do anything with it. It's that simple.

The problem is if you criticize the game at all right away you're told your complaining instead of having a conversation

The ranked game I just got out of felt the worst this game has felt all year. The main thing I noticed was the timing window.
My opponent only had two hits all game and he didn’t suck. This was in DS. It was frustrating for both of us.
The game also completely glitched. I had bases loaded no outs one inning. I hit a routine sac fly. The game went into a different dimension and when it was over I had two outs and one run scored. It was a weird game. Timing has never felt worse in any Show game I’ve ever played. The game before that I couldn’t hit anything.
Every hit I had felt like luck. Feels like I have zero control over my hitter.
Before these patches it felt like I had complete control of what I wanted to do.
Patch 1.04 made the game less fun, patch 1.05 I think broke the game. They need to patch it today.

i went 102-24 in the event and currently 20-3 in ranked and have played a ton of chrome league games with friends on HoF and no matter what update they come out with i’m still a top tier player.. learn to adjust instead of complaining

You’re right, why should we expect a good fun product for our money. We should just “adjust” to whatever SDS decides to change after launch. This is a product we all pay for and we are all more than entitled (as consumers) to expect the product we bought to be what was sold to us.
