@PaullyG24_PSN do player exchanges, a few conquest games in rookie and get the points for 10Ks or 5 hits with the right people, the easy moments (eg pitching a scoreless inning on veteran) and you’re done in no time? Ignore showdown and you’ll be there easy. Can always showdowns later if you’re bored but if you’re just grinding for the cards, don’t waste your time

Showdown is definitely optional if you enjoy pain.

Yeah, I did the player exchanges. (Buy 5 players at 5k apiece). You’ll get one of the TA bosses. Create a team with that boss and the two team captains. Play two games vs CPU at your “favorite” park (mine is Costco).
TA for that division is done!

I think Showdowns are fun. Maybe the most fun out of the challenges. But this one just feels like somethings up. That’s all. I finished all the other ones on the first try.

Just played it like 3 or 4 more times and it’s the same inconsistency and plain insanity as before. Great hits going nowhere. The pitching is ridiculous. Double plays from contact that defies physics. I have to be done now. No one will ever convince me that I’m wrong about my OP.

Computer sliders are maxed out it seems. Same goes for mini seasons. Definitely feeling wonky. I think they wanted to give a challenge. Mission successful if so.
