This is all y’all’s fault. You complain about the pitch speeds when you’re in spring training and instead of waiting until you hit CS and Hall of Fame difficulty. Now SDS boosts up the speeds and the game is unplayable on HOF and Legend.
Literally hitting was fine on day one, now every game in CS is 3-2

His name was big kep. Not a friendly guy. Right when I took the lead he accused me of stream sniping even though I just got a random matchup. That’s also a stupid argument because (1) there’s a delay (2) even if you could look at pitches location isn’t good this year and (3) he turned off his gameplay and I proceeded to hit a bomb with Gallo the next pitch.

The sad thing is that streamers will pull this card anytime they lose. Glad I beat him 8-4

I do neither, honestly this post should be taken down for talking about drugs. Really disappointing to see y’all act like this on a forum that young people browse, terrible example.

Literally nothing needed fixing. SDS always does this, they’ll fix something that wasn’t broken. It’s y’alls fault for complaining too much.

Showdown is also impossible now. No clue what y’all do with those sliders but it is not veteran difficulty

To some people it's just a video game, but to me, it's so much more. 2017 was my first year playing the Show. It was also Aaron Judge's rookie season. Aaron Judge and DD took me out of a dark time in my life. Whenever I was stressed or frustrated, Aaron Judge was there for me.

In 2017 I enjoyed DD because it allowed me to collect cards. I unlocked great players like Judge, as well as, completed the Pepe Alazar program and was the first to discover 99 Ryan Braun.

In 2018, Judge was on the cover and it made me so happy. I personally think immortals were great for the game and loved them so very much.

For me, Diamond Dynasty is an escape from reality. I can be stressed about life, school, work, and everything and I can still just relax while playing the game I love and collecting cards. Sometimes I'll even pause the game just to go into replay mode and zoom in on Aaron Judge's face. Even when, in real life, I'm as lost as last year's easter eggs, I still have MLB for me.

If you look at the missions, there's hints to more FoF players. For example under Yankees there's a mission that says, "Tally 7 HR with NYY SS, C, or RF". Since we already have the SS (Gleyber) it tells us that the other two FoF will probably be Gary Sanchez (Catcher) and Aaron Judge (Right fielder). This makes sense because, excluding the final card, there are two other highlighted checkpoints. What's the final card at 220 stars, you may ask? I think it's a prime, awards, or SS from that team for completing all the other missions, although that's a baseless prediction. Italics refers to the card already in game. Keep in mind that not all teams have specific positions mentioned but the ones that do almost all have at least one of those positions as their first FoF

As someone who is kinda nerdy and loves sabermetrics as well as, making spreadsheets I came up with a stat for ranking MLB The Show 19 outfielders.

How it works
I plug their in game hitting and fielding attributes into my spreadsheet and it weighs them with the formula. The most important stats (Vision, Arm Strength) are weighed higher and the less important (Bunt, Arm Accuracy) are weighed lower. After weighing each individual stat it adds them together into a new total, which is then divided by 10 just to make the data easier to understand and more consumable.

The Weighing
I weighed things based on how important they are in my opinion because I want to find the best cards for myself, I'll justify some of my weights though.

Contact (1.1, 1.05) Hitting stats vs. lefties are weighed higher simply because I believe lefty pitchers to be slightly better this year. With that being said, its still a tiny different.

Power (1.2, 1.15) Same explanation as the last one, I find power ever so slightly more important and scarce than contact is.

Vision (1.75) I believe vision to be more valuable than contact and overall the best with offense as a whole, the reason why many people see Tony Gwynn as endgame is his large PCI.

Disipline (0.8) I see disc as a useful stat, but still less than most, thus a value <1.

Clutch (0.75) It does help, but is less useful than discipline.

Bunt/Drag (40/20) I bunt a bit so I still included it, still the lowest valued offensive stat.

Fielding (1.3) Very useful stat for outfielders

Arm Strength (1.75) The most useful outfielder stat IMO

Arm Accuracy (0.75) Accuracy in 19 at least, is mostly about user imput. This is more important for IF than Outfielders.

Reaction (1) It actually is more important than you'd think for good jumps

Speed and Stealing (1.2/0.75) Speed is useful on both sides thus the higher rating. Stealing is less useful than most stats.

Every pitcher feels like a Frankenstein of Aroldis Chapman and Nolan Ryan as I watch in disgust to get “very late” swings time and time again. 89 MPH feels like 105, slow it down SDS!

As someone who is a semi-pro at the game, and arguably one of the top players, showdown should not be this hard for me. It needs a good fixing.

Part time grocery store job is $10 an hour/30 hours a week. This is equal to $300 or, even better 450,000 stubs!

I’ve crunched then numbers for a few hours and that’s enough stubs for michael trout. You may even have a couple thousand left over

Life has been good. I've been doing well in school with a 4.3 GPA and Honors Classes. Been working on SAT prep stuff too lately and have surpassed 1350, my goal is a 1480 because I want to go to Duke, we'll see how that turns out.

Bonus tip: Try not to get outs they hurt your chances

They say to be the change you want to see in the world, that’s why after every win, I personally message my opponents and tell them why they lost and how to improve. For example earlier today I said, “Good game (username). The reason you lost was because you hung sliders and your overall skill could use improvement.”

It’s a small gesture but I know it can make someone’s day, which is why I go out of my way to do it
