HINTS to Future FoF Cards
-
If you look at the missions, there's hints to more FoF players. For example under Yankees there's a mission that says, "Tally 7 HR with NYY SS, C, or RF". Since we already have the SS (Gleyber) it tells us that the other two FoF will probably be Gary Sanchez (Catcher) and Aaron Judge (Right fielder). This makes sense because, excluding the final card, there are two other highlighted checkpoints. What's the final card at 220 stars, you may ask? I think it's a prime, awards, or SS from that team for completing all the other missions, although that's a baseless prediction. Italics refers to the card already in game. Keep in mind that not all teams have specific positions mentioned but the ones that do almost all have at least one of those positions as their first FoF
Red Sox: Mentions 3B, SS, and LF (Devers, Xander, and JD)
Yankees: Mentions C, SS, and RF (Gary, Gleyber, Judge)
Blue Jays: Mentions 2B, 3B, and SS (Cavan Biggio, Vlad Jr., Bo Bichette)
White Sox: 3B, SS, LF
Royals: 2B, SS, RF
Twins: C, 1B, RF
Angels: 3B, SS, CF
A's: SS, 3B, CF
Mariners: 1B, 3B, RF
Astros: 2B, 3B, CF
Braves: 1B, 2B, CF
Phillies: C, SS, RF
Nationals: SS, LF, CF
Cubs: 1B, 3B, SS
Cardinals: 1B, 2B, SS
D-Backs: 2B, 3B, CF
Rockies: 3B, SS, RF
Padres: 3B, SS, LF
Giants: C, 3B, LF -
Very interesting and definitely a possibility

I picked up on that as well after I was doing the Red Sox one. I’m certainly gonna be happy having a god tier pinch hitter in JD off of my bench once he gets a diamond
-
Cubs have FoF Rizzo, they will get a low 90's hardware Bryant, and in the fall they will get their 99 Banks
-
The other cards could be non-FoF cards in the affinity just like a flashback of sorts
-
This is where SDS was listening again! These will be worth it, if that's the case. But what's that mean for finest cards?
I was thinking there could be a legend mixed in there too for each team. -
Angels would be Rendon, Simmons and Trout!
-
Doing the Rockies I certainly noticed that the stat mission was for Arenado, Story and Blackmon. I figured they were just picking the best players. I didn’t look at all the teams.
Twins for example, is C, 1B and RF. That doesn’t include Buxton in CF. Not sure what it means.
-
I think it's just focus those stat missions on the highest rated, hardest to get cards. Just another obstacle.

They explained it in the Dev stream. They didn't want to use people who already had high diamonds for FotF because they wanted to spread the wealth.

I mentioned in the thread about possible FOTF players pre-launch that this was probably their plan, a player for every "season", and someone stated to me that the devs said there wouldn't be one per season. Not sure how true that is, but thats what I was told.
It would only make sense, though. Start off the first season with a gold that will possibly go diamond (like Albies or Soto), and then end with a 99 overall FOTF card (like Acuna or Strasburg). Possibly add in some legends.

It will be baez

I'd be so happy to get a diamond Tim Anderson and Eloy Jimenez to go along with my diamond Yoan Moncada and Luis Robert.

I think the original fof card could be upgradable throughout the seasons. like next season you might be able to upgrade gleyber Torres to a 91-95, then eventually all the way at the end upgrade him to 99. could be wrong but seems like they like the upgrading system this year.

Stat Missions for these cards would be dope.

Phillies would have Realmuto and Harper. Sign me up
