Good post. One thing I’ll add: Make sure you are taking mental notes of the pitches being thrown to you. You should be taking lots of pitches at the beginning of the game. Often times you'll be able to find distinct patterns in terms of sequencing and/or specific counts.

In a show down last night, I gapped one with runners on 2nd and 3rd. I spam L1 and both runners take off. Then inexplicably, the runner on his way home turns around and heads back to third. The cpu then commences to throw to third and outs both runners. It looked like something from a blooper reel.

Its not confusing. If the game had you lock your pitcher and lineup BEFORE you are matched up to an opponent, then people would not be able to scroll through their line up to do the home field detection cheese. I like the idea!

I understand why he did it…But man it’s gonna be rough online until SDS fixes all those cheats he outlined. Yikes.

replaying homers does not freeze the game. just because it happened once after a replay does not mean anything honestly. 9 times out of 10 I cant even replay a HR if I want to, But when I am able to replay a HR its caused a total of 0 freezes.

You can replay home-runs, but this year the opponent can cancel the animation by pressing x. The freeze glitch is performed when the pitching ream replays the home-run at certain stadiums. Its real.

You are both correct. During a livestream, they stated difficulty would be based on the higher ranked players division. This was a change from previous years. However, they never updated the handbook and it still states that mixed division games will be played at all star difficulty.

Btw, you can access the handbook in game, through one of the sub menus. I forgot which one at the moment.

Probably left an exhibition game on all night and waited for the inning program to drop.

Most of those missions in 18 were not that bad. There were some that were terrible. But I find all moments mind numbingly boring. Its just not a fun mode. To each their own.

Content will become more reward heavy going forward. This will keep downward pressure on prices. 90+ packs are out now, lots of packs coming from conquest, events and daily's. I wouldn't expect to see yesterdays prices again all year.

I believe the timing windows are dependent on k/9 and maybe h/9. Since, each pitch has its on stats, each pitch will have a different timing window.

Too many people trying to profit from the collection.SDS is reacting to that. But it sure does take away from the grind. I always like having something to grind for. It makes the game rewarding.

Jack the fb slider all the way up and jump in to custom practice. Practice against a hard throwing sinker baller for a 1/2 hr or so. The pitches will seem much slower next time you jump into RS

This was happening to me yesterday. I checked my internet speed and it was down to 11 mb. I restarted my router and was able to get onto games. Hope this helps
