This post has nothing to do with the game but with the community for this game. You guys are the absolute worst. Everyone is either a troll, try’s to act tuff behind a keyboard, or is a troll. When reading comments on post on this forum or someone’s comments on a YouTube video, it’s nothing but trolls and people that disrespectfully get in their feelings when someone is speaking their mind. I really don’t understand why people deliberately go out of their way to trash someone on their opinion or their own feelings. That’s all these forums are, just someone’s opinion, personal feelings, or thoughts.

I hate it because you never know what someone is goin on in their life. You never know what people have going on in their life. People really think what they say online doesn’t affect people when it does. Not gonna lie, when I post and someone says something I don’t like on my post and it might get to me. Luckily I can deal with it and it doesn’t bother me but it might not be that for the next person. I will play some, win or lose, and get a message telling me to do better and stop using mommy credit card and dumb stuff like that, I’m pretty sure we all been there and it happened to us all more than we like. Can we please do better please

No need to get into details. Just do not play events. Play it if you want to get every hit taken away from dives, goods turned to lates/earlies, and out hitting and pitching your opponent but still losing. If that’s what you want then play it. Good Luck!!

When I log in. To the link it says that my account is unlinked. What if I don’t have a mlb the show account. Idk if I ever made one. I don’t remember the username or password. I only used my own pan account to login and sign up for twitch drops and all of that. I never made an account I think. Should my own own account be enough?

 Before I say this I love this game. Well it’s kinda due to default bs it’s the only sim baseball game. One thing SDS does with this game is say that it tries to emulate simulation baseball but still catering to the arcade/simulation mix style of play. 

 Yes it looks and feel like you’re playing a “real” baseball game but it does not play like a simulation baseball game. If this game is supposed to be a simulation baseball game it should be skill based, not rng when pitching and hitting.

  If you want everyone to play you’re game and then program it to cater to everyone’s play style say that,  instead of saying “ the game is hitting as intended” but then I’m the same breath promote it as if you’re actually on the mound or in the batters box and your input matters when it doesn’t.

 The problem is that anyone can play this game which is not fair  in a sense. If someone that plays this game to have fun has the same chance of winning no matter his players, rating, or if they aren’t good vs a player who is actually good solely bc everything in this game is based on rng and “circumstances”  isn’t fair. 

 Yes I know you want everyone that likes baseball to play and buy your game, I get that. That’s the problem with only have one baseball game. The developers straggles the fence of programming the game for a specific type of gameplay they put out. That’s why good players  says this hitting engine is garbage and the same with pitching. The play style caters to everyone’s wants and needs which they can’t do bc only  percentage of people is going to be content with this game. This game is like if there was on one war game. Imagine playing battlefield playing like battlefield, cod, Fortnite, and pubg all in the same game. That one game would have to try and make 1 war like game for the mass. That’s what we have in this , madden, and 2k. Their gameplay all Tries to fit for everyone. 

 Like I say, this game is like a very very toxic relationship. You get in an argument, take a break. Once you forget about things you come back knowing what your going to get and  expect different but nothing changes and you repeat the process over and over. lol

My team is stacked, I have both collections done and almost every card In the game. When I play ranked I have the better team 9 times outta 10. When I get into a game I feel like I’m playing with 59 overall cards while my opponent has a full team of 99.
For example my opponent can pitch with a FOTF Alex Monoah while I pitch with collections Randy. Monoah will hit every corner, get every call, and everything while My Randy will miss every spots even when it’s a 100 accuracy and release and won’t get the same calls. The same thing will happen with my hitters. My good hits will be outs, my bad hits will be outs and majority of my perfect hits will be outs or turned early/late while the person I’m facing will have 5 hits with 4 hrs and 1 triple, regardless if good or bad timing. We can have the 3 same hitters and my hitters will be 0-3 even when I hit good goods on hittable pitches but his players will go 2-3 or 3-3 with early and late hits on pitches out side the zone or inside the hands.
When I play someone with the same tier team as me things won’t happen as if I was playing a lesser team.
I just want to know if the same thing will happen to others as it does with me or if the game bumps their team up and allows them to get better animations so that the game will be fair for them.

THIS SHOWDOWN IS UNBEARABLE. I can’t count how many times I’ve gotten good/perfect hits that have counted as outs/double plays. The furthest I’ve gotten was against Grayson. I lost in the most bs way ever. I was down by 3 with 4 outs left and I had bases full. I hit a perfect ground ball that got caught by a bs dive thy ended into a double play, I got 2 hits after that with with 3 outs left. I hit a perfect to the waring track, I advanced one runner to 3rd but had one on 1st still. The batter I hit a just early foul ball that was foul by 5 feet then the next pitch I hit a good good groundout double play to end it…. I cannot with this game.. if no one believes me I recorded it on my YouTube _landoprooducedit YYallMad

I have had collections done for over a month and only have Randy P3.. I don’t use him in conquest bc I don’t wanna face the best pitcher on each team, I don’t grind offline for him bc I work. Only time I play with him is when I play RS. The last 3 outings for Randy are, (Outing 1) 1 inning pitched struck out side in 11 pitches (opponent quit). Used all of energy have to wait 3 games to use. (Outing2) 1 inning pitched 14 pitches thrown, I hit get 3 outs, Top of 2nd opponent quits after 1 pitch thrown, loses energy can’t use for 4 games. Bottom 1 I throw 7 pitches in first inning, I hit get 1 run, bottom second strike out batter he quits, loses energy. I literally used the collection reward 3 times and only threw 37 pitches in the last 17 games played. Luckily I pulled trout and acuna day 1 and 2 but I literally grinding so hard to get the collection completed. I hate how people send friendlies or straight up quit when they see Randy or see that I have collections completed. What makes things even worse is that SDS programmed this game to allow the lower tier team to stay in the game with the better team by giving them flukes, better exit velo, pitcher accuracy, and more. Sorry for this long rant but I had to get this out my system.

Yea you can but that’s not going to fix SDS servers by him turning off cross play. If he turns it off, he’s still gonna have to deal with SDS server issues.

People have had issues with the servers long before the show was on multiple platforms. I don’t really think crossplay is the issue here

Dude I feel you! I feel like this game has an even team feature or a momentum swing to let losers come back in the game. I feel like they program the game that way because they want people to play their game and come back. The problem with that is, there is no skill gap just luck and hoping you get good rng. Just like when you hit , the game lags a second after you swing bc it is choosing if it is going to be a pop up, grounder, or whatever. You’re not wrong with what you’re saying bc I feel like everyone that plays this game have gone through everything you have explained. It frustrates me so much because I know no matter how good I pitch or hit my opponent is still in the match because this game loves to help out the losing team with terrible terrible hits, my pitchers aren’t hitting their spots even with 100 accuracy and timing, and ext. I feel you!

Go into settings and take base runners off of "auto". You will now have full control of every base runner you have on base. The CPU will NOT decide who runs with when & where. It's all up to you.

This does not work 100% the Stevie wonder's still stand around or return to a base when not prompted to.

I had a runner on third NOT run on a line single to center last night!!!!
I think if you have 'Assisted' baserunning on, they act brain dead as well. It's like they don't want you to score, sometimes.
Bro be quiet bout the show respect, Stevie wonder is a well known blind man. He didn’t say anything about him in a disrespectful way. He just said the base runner is blind. Goodness ppl like you make life so difficult. I can understand if he put Stevie down but he didn’t. Dang lol

No matter how much I’m up or down I can always come back or lose a lead. Am I the only one that has been thru this? Having a huge lead blown due to the game trying to make the other team come back, regardless if you’re the one coming back? I just wanted to know if I’m the only one or not that this happens to.

 Before you read this I won. I’m just asking to see what’s going on but…  Me and my opponent hit 8 perfects in the game. 5 by me a 3 by my opponent. ONLY 1 of those perfects was a hit (single) by my opponent. In the whole game I had 12 hits while my opponent had. I’m not exaggerating when I say this I literally had 7 hits where my opponent threw a pitch on the inside of the plate and I’m late on it and my pic barley under it and it lands for a hit. I had 7 of those, but my 5 perfects were all outs??!!? If you don’t believe me I record everything. Out of all my 12 hits I only had 3 good goods, and 2 earlies. What makes things worse is that my opponent had 3 of those same exact hits and 2 very late hits. He only had 3 good hits in the game same as me. 

For us to get hits do we have to do opposite of what we are supposed to do and just get lucky and not have any skill? I’m really trying to figure out because this isn’t an outlier of a game where this happened only once. Can someone please let me know something please. Because this game so does not work as intended or advertise lol. Don’t get me wrong I love this game so much and it does such a great job with content drops and new things and trying to be innovative but it lacks at the #1 thing a game needs to be best at and that’s gameplay input/ programming how the game works. It’s just is like madden vs 2k football05. 2k football will be so Superior to Madden because of its gameplay. No one cared about the lack of jerseys and content at the time because the game was played so well. When you have a good game you don’t have to mask it with new things every 3 days bc the gameplay will speak for itself. But yea lol I kinda got carried away lol my bad.

Or what about the patch they said they was going to fix perfects from going perfect to lates. or the one where you throw inside pitches and it’s an automatic bloop hit.

Likely next year as the team didn't reveal the plans till late into development and the stadiums they said are one piece so they take a while to build from the ground up. This will also apply to the Blie Jays new video boards we likely won't see it in game till next year

Man I was hoping they could fix it. It’s a really simple coding and programming fix to put in a new update. I hope we don’t have to wait until next year for such a minuscule patch

They said it in the stream. Hitting is working as intended. Which means they are aware of how hitting is and satisfied with it. Which says A LOT.

This is sad bc, if this is “working as intended” this is sad.
