This is 23 in a nutshell.

I won't touch on gameplay. It is what it is, and clearly they are pleased with it since there have been no gameplay updates all year. However, the amount of mistakes made with every update is baffling. Overlapping text, jersey logos randomly disappearing, mini-seasons being lost due to roster issues, commentary which doesn't match what is seen on screen, XP loop spin not showing at times, being unable to sell certain lefties, commons being quick sold for 1000 stubs, the pennant race pack which was no sell (which looks like it was finally fixed), etc. All with little to no communication regarding each issue.

None of that stuff individually is that big of a deal, but its death by 1000 cuts. I don't recall the quality control ever being this bad.

It took me about 10 tries and then I had one magical run where everything seemed to work out. My best advice: once you have the winning run on base start bunting. Otherwise you are guaranteed to hit into a double play...

I would agree with this... however it is mind boggling how many major leaguers in this game can't lay down a bunt when it's right down the middle of the plate. instead they pop it straight up or burn off a 90mph heater right to the first baseman for a double play anyways.

And take pitches til you get 2 strikes you’d be surprised how many walks you get if you’re patient. This showdown in particular wasn’t made to cheese your way through it. Patience pays off

You still can in the all-time standings. But yes it is lame. I submitted a bug report and everyone else should too.

Thank god i don't play DD for the collections! I play DD so i can create any team i want with the players i want. They have given me 15+ new cards in less than 24 hours. I'm happy with the setup of program as well. I will finish collection when i finish, i am in no hurry just enjoying all these new cards, jersey's, bat skins, and icons!!! 🙂 Tyvm SDS! 👍
