My character is a 19 year old rookie on a Padre team that just won a pennant. That in itself is troublesome as he is the starting second baseman. We are currently playing the Brewers. Game two of the series ended when Christian Yelich tried a drag bunt to get on base. Really??? In game three Manny Machado sacrifice bunted with one out and my character on second after hitting a double. REALLY?!?!? Maybe I don’t know as much about baseball as I think because I don’t believe either play would happen in reality. I’m dumbfounded at some of the “baseball” I see in this game.

I’ve had many characters pick #1 in round 15. Sometimes I purposely tank in the showcase to get picked lower. I get tired of being picked in the first three picks. I love the Tigers but don’t want to play with them every time. I also don’t want to pick my team. I feel like that’s cheating lol

What are some funny things you’ve seen happen on the field during the game? I once drilled the coach pitching in the batting part of scout day square in the face. He dropped like a stone face down spread eagle. I had to pause I laughed so hard.

Agreed. I always try to do good, but might try to be bad
some.

Quit at the start of scout day and simulate the showcase games and you’ll get drafted in a late round near the bottom of the draft.

I’m just wondering who might want a stand alone game for RTTS. MLB The Show: The Road to the Show. Maybe it would be able to extend to High A ball? Maybe render the real stadiums for every team and not just MLB? It may allow for even more realism, IDK. Just a question I’ve been pondering.

I’ve had that happen. The manager during the game is disconnected from the manager in the clubhouse presentations. The stealing by the AI is just as stupid with stealing as bunting.

Ben Gellman has a horrible voice! He’s nails on a chalkboard to me. He also sounds like he’s doing a dramatic reading instead of calling a game. It’s terrible!
