I'd like to thank all of the frame rate commenters. I still play on an Xbox One. I saved my money and didn't purchase '23. I just downloaded a '23 roster dated around April 3rd (and learned to live with the dates and schedules not being updated for 2023.) I know it's not the same rush that you get from playing a brand new game, but, since I haven't played '22 since around Thanksgiving, the new rosters made it seem kind of fresh (and my Xbox didn't get tossed before I could afford a new one.)

tmfiv mentioned NBA 2K. I love how that game handles expansion/relocated teams. If you're lazy like me, and don't want to make sure that the logo on your alternate away jersey and cap match, you can search through the (soon to be) 1,000's of designs that others have made. Choose one and Download. Boom! Done!

I'd love to move the A's to Vegas, but, it's just too much work.

When you do this, will your old RTTS, Road to the Show, etc. files all transfer. I actually had a Series S in my Target cart yesterday, but, didn't buy it.

At the end of April in Year 4, I finally got called up to the Reds, after changing my primary position to SP (secondary is CF). After a no decision (14 Ks) first start, I faced 5 batters in my second start. After a guy hit a routine Fly out, a message flashed on the screen telling me that I had sustained a head injury and would be placed on the 60-day IL. I never played again that year. WTF??

If it's in the "script" for my player to have a major injury, then I should at least get to see how it happens. Doesn't seem real. I'm not sure what behavior to change so I don't get hurt. For example, stop fighting all the time in Hockey and you will miss fewer games.

I think you have to wait for the manager, or your agent, to offer it. At some point between games, they'll ask you "How's it going?" If you answer "Could be better," you should be able to tell them what you want to do.

I was stuck in the Reds farm system for a couple years as a 2-way player with CF as my primary position. Once the manager suggested that I switch my primary to SP, I was called up right away....in 2024. Good thing I switched. My team signed George Springer as a free agent. Now, I'll probably have to wait for someone to ask to change my secondary position to RF.

Is this because I am still in the Minors? Once, I reach the Majors, I can wear neon green Hi-tops, if I want to, right??

Specifically, in Road to the Show. Can you add "cool" shoes before you reach the Show? I have a ton of coinage because I only play Road to the Show. Wondering how to spend it.

Thanks!! I kind of forgot about that. In AA, I actually did switch from 2-way to LF and then back. Something happened between Oct22 and Apr23. After the 1st series of the season, I'm hitting over .500 and 3rd in the league in Slugging %age, with a HR and 5 RBI. Must've had my virtual Wheaties over the winter.....or it was just the Cubs pitching.

Just finished my 2nd season with the Tigers. Got the call up in early August. My day job is LF. My hobby is SP. Anyway to change that?
I crushed AAA pitching, but, had a much harder time in the Majors. Finished with 1 HR, 12 RBI and a .268 average in about 60 games. Very average at best. I got 3 starts in that time. The first one was rocky...got the win, but, gave up 4 runs in 5 innings. In the last two, I had 15 IP, 1-0, 19 K, 1.23 ERA. Is there any way to join the Rotation? The 4 and 5 pitchers on the Tigers surely aren't All Stars.

In 2k21, your player even gets a girlfriend....in college. Never hear from her again in the pros. Too bad!

I finally made it to the show!! In August of my 2nd year as a 2-way player. Then I realized....I play for the Detroit Tigers. The virtual GM traded away many of the top prospects....Mize, Torkelson, Manning and Greene. We suck!!

Despite giving up 3 HRs in my first start, I was the winning pitcher. Will the user 2-way player ever show up in the team's rotation? My starts in AAA and the Majors have just seemingly been at random. It would be nice to plan.
