Expansion team options needed

I won’t go off in a tangent here about how much better NBA 2k is with expansion teams and preset teams/arenas/jerseys to use here, but there has got to be an expansion option AND a create-a-team, city, arena that’s better than what there is… the MLB the Show admin guy told me to post this here.
Also just throwing this in here, why is there no way to view and sort every player by position and attribute? If I need a SS and want to sort by potential and then pick the lowest OVR rated SS, I have to go one by one.

I think it would be super cool to be able to realign the leagues, make each league a single table, 2 divisions, or stick with 3, change the playoff formats etc.

tmfiv mentioned NBA 2K. I love how that game handles expansion/relocated teams. If you're lazy like me, and don't want to make sure that the logo on your alternate away jersey and cap match, you can search through the (soon to be) 1,000's of designs that others have made. Choose one and Download. Boom! Done!
I'd love to move the A's to Vegas, but, it's just too much work.

This is where MLB THE SHOW can learn from Super Mega baseball 3.
In SMB3 you create two conferences with 2, 3, or 4 divisions max. You can have as many as 4 teams per division, but the basic concept is you build the league from the ground up.
You can also set the amount of innings to 3-9 which makes a tremendous difference
