The 88 overall Salvador Perez - Does anyone know how to obtain this card? It’s listed as some type of Core accomplishment.
-
How is it crashing? Does it give you a specific error code, like, “cannot continue using the application, data corrupted”. I have had this issue since launch despite multiple reloads and a HD replacement.
-
First, I have reported this directly to "The Show" support, but I got to know if this is happening to any other PS4 users.
I keep getting the dreaded "Cannot continue using the application. The data for the following application is corrupted. Delete the application from the PS4 and then download it again from [Library] on the home screen."
I cannot make consistent progress in diamond dynasty because I continue to get this error despite trying the following fixes.
- Delete game - delete all game files (Local and Cloud) - Reinstall game (Approximately 10 times)
- Rebuilt PS4 database through "Safe Mode"
- Replaced existing hard drive with new hard drive
- Deleted all other games to ensure "The Show 23" is the only active game on console
Very frustrated that the Hard Drive replacement was not the fix. Clearly my digital download is to blame, correct?
Just curious if this has happened to anyone else and if they are continuing to have issues. If not, it at least felt good to vent for a moment. Was waiting to upgrade to the PS5 until next year, but might go that route now.

Where do you get the bronze brigade and silver strike thrower cards?

Played a Conquest game with a full squad of 2020 postseason players, Dodgers and Rays mixed in. None of the stats counted towards the Seager World Series program missions. The missions do not indicate that they must be played online. Anyone else experience this?

There was a vs CPU grind a couple years back for a 99 overall Chase Utley. I think you had to beat every team on All Star and accumulate stats with different card types along the way. I remember enjoying that.
I also like the idea for an offline RS mode. I could see Championship Series and Division Series being on legend to get to WS. The only downside would be grinding through rookie, veteran and all star games when starting over. Perhaps it could be like Conquest where you can choose a higher difficulty if you want to.

My PCI is blue and I set it to 60%. I then find my preferred spot in the zone and the PCI is set to fade out when the pitcher starts his motion. That way I know the exact starting point for the PCI and it does not distract me from seeing the pitch. I prefer Strike Zone 2 as my hitting camera.

@SHOW_TIME_ryan said in This is starting to get a little out of hand.:
I’ve single handily made multiple members on here hide from me because they can’t win a debate against me regarding how bad hitting is.
I’m actually kinda proud of that.
You my friend, are exhausting. It’s the same thing every day, over and over and over. What is your end game? If it is to annoy the general public, you have succeeded in flying colors. Something to be proud of I guess.

Can you play the Yankees in the 3 inning game in Conquest on all star also or does it have to be vs CPU 9 inning game?
It has to be 9 innings in Play vs. CPU

The consensus do not hate this game. The loudest people on the forum hate this game. I personally really enjoy this game. Always have.

I start with all the commons, then move to bronze, then silver, then gold and finally diamond. All the while I am locking in collections at the 10/20/30 marks and generating XP. A few teams were completed after I got done collecting all the silvers and a few more are done, now that I am working on golds. It will take awhile, but I will start to pick off diamonds here and there.
Just by doing all commons and bronze you can get almost every team to the 20 player mark and take advantage of the XP boost. I spent less than 20,000 stubs to get to that point.

Whit Merrifield is a base hit machine with sneaky pop. Runs well and can play anywhere.

I may be in the minority, but I enjoy Showdown. Takes some strategy and a lot of patience at the plate. I also like that it is challenging at times. It is always the 2nd boss battle that gets me sweating. It would be boring if it was a cake walk every time. It’s OK to lose sometimes. I think this mode is a great addition by SDS. Hang in there and keep trying.

I have played every version of the show and when they introduce a new hitting method I like to give it a shot. I ALWAYS go back to zone hitting because it is the most rewarding and provides the most user control.
I personally prefer Zoom for my hitting view. It is the best I have found for seeing pitches low in the zone and it is more aesthetically pleasing than Strike Zone because you actually get to see your hitter and more of the stadium.

I really like the customization of the PCI this year. In the past I have played around with turning the PC on and off with mixed success. Now I like to start with a blue PCI at about 70% visibility. This allows me to place the PCI exactly where I want it, usually high and inside depending on the handedness and then I elect to have the PCI fade out before the pitch. Allowing it to fade out of view is huge for me because the PCI no longer obstructs my view of the pitch. This approach has worked wonders for me this year.

I've taken both routes to get to (50) TA points and MTO takes significantly longer than Showdown. A Hall of Fame run with the Royals took me roughly 7-8 hours and I stopped after the ALCS because I had accrued (50) points. I'll probably go back and wrap up the WS after they add to the Team Affinity rewards. With the Showdowns I can play through every mission and knock it out in about an hour. Do that 2x for (40) TA points and then I usually process one rival exchange for the final (10) points. If you buy the right cards you can do an exchange for about 5,500 stubs. If you don't to do the exchange, beat Showdown for a 3rd time, only use (2) of the tickets and then beat the (3) point player moment. Apply the (3) remaining tickets to another TA in the division and get a (12) point head start towards the next player. I play about an hour a day and have knocked out (3) FOTF over the course of the last week.
