Yes, but the playoffs take forever so I left that out.

So would you say its faster to do the regular season twice or do a full season including postseason?

Not even close. I did a lot of them last year and if you don't lose any games in the playoffs, you'll breeze right through it. Regular season takes way longer.

I thought I recalled that some PO games were simulated a bit last year? Maybe my memory is off there but I didn't feel like I was having to play every PO game.

That was last year. This year, you start every playoff game in the 5th, while many of the in season moments are 8th or 9th inning.

Yeah, I breeze through the regular season on AS. Even my son (10yo) breezes through on Veteran but PO seem to take forever even when you win every game lol

I started game 5 of the NLDS in the top of the first

It's performance based. If you got a 5 star regular season, you'll get put into easier situations like the 7th inning with a 1-0 lead.
If you barely made the WC game, you'll be put in tougher spots, like down 3-0 in the 5th. Also, an elimination game is always 9 innings.

So is M2O better than the Showdowns? If you can win every showdown it takes 3 and about hour and a half per. That is if you don't fail.

Anyone know what the avg TA points you get if you use the Dynamic Difficulty option?

I've taken both routes to get to (50) TA points and MTO takes significantly longer than Showdown. A Hall of Fame run with the Royals took me roughly 7-8 hours and I stopped after the ALCS because I had accrued (50) points. I'll probably go back and wrap up the WS after they add to the Team Affinity rewards. With the Showdowns I can play through every mission and knock it out in about an hour. Do that 2x for (40) TA points and then I usually process one rival exchange for the final (10) points. If you buy the right cards you can do an exchange for about 5,500 stubs. If you don't to do the exchange, beat Showdown for a 3rd time, only use (2) of the tickets and then beat the (3) point player moment. Apply the (3) remaining tickets to another TA in the division and get a (12) point head start towards the next player. I play about an hour a day and have knocked out (3) FOTF over the course of the last week.

Depends on your skill. If you're good, showdowns are definitely the way to go because it's much faster. March to October regular season + playoffs take a while but is easier.

Keep in mind that MTO on all star will get you (up to) 24 affinity points for just the regular season (which really only takes 3-4 hours) along with a fair amount of so and program stars too. Obviously, depending on your skill, this is going to be harder with bad teams than good ones, but it is repeatable.

Are you sure about that timeframe? What am I doing wrong? I keep seeing these posts that say MTO can be done in 8 hours, and you just wrote it takes 3 hours for the regular season.

I’ve kept track of both my runs and each one took 6-7 hours for the regular season. Is it just that I don’t win every encounter? I went 25-7 in my encounters and won the division by 10 games in my last regular season on all star and it took 7 hours.

I’m not calling you a liar, or trying to stir the pot. I’m just curious what these other experiences have been like. I genuinely like MTO. So, I’m not really that concerned about the time.

    Thanks.

You need to completely avoid player lock pitcher missions. They take 30-45 min each. And it does take 8 hours to complete MTO all they way through. Its about 4 hours for the regular season and 4 hours for the postseason. You dont have to win every encounter but you have to avoid extra innings as well. Winning every encounter does help however. If you got a nice hot streak going you almost always have a 3-0 lead each game and dont even need to hit

Can you skip the player-lock missions?

I played through the Braves MTO on allstar just because I’m a fan. I won 118 games and went 11-1 through the playoffs but only got 46 points towards the program so I’m still one off of Albies 😞
