The graphics, the gameplay, different modes, the different moments, all of the legends, RTTS......this game seriously has it all. Never in all of my years did I think I'd see video games come this far, and this game is the best sports game out there at the moment by a country mile.
A major pat on the back to SDS for what they have done, I hope they continue this for years to come.
In the spirit of the holiday, I would like to commend you for your dedication to MLB The Show. Normally, I would take your posts as a perfectly tee'd up moment to call you a baby, or tell you to quit whining, or to get a life.....but I'm not going to do that.
580+ posts in a month in a half is not impressive, it's absolute legendary. And these posts aren't just simple "I hate outlier" type posts.....these are paragraphs upon paragraphs of gameplay, progress, strategy, feedback....it's unlike something I have ever seen in all of my years.
The fact that someone not only has all of that time on their hand, but for someone to continue to seek out the advice and feedback of the community while essentially getting trashed on non stop takes brass balls and serious perseverance..this beer tonight is for you.
I hope SDS sees your dedication and rewards you, maybe with a free copy of '22....you deserve it.

I am choosing to not support your game in this manner because your product doesn't deserve it. Between the terrible online environment and gameplay issues I'm not supporting it any further.
We as sports game fans have been taken advantage of over the recent years since Ultimate Team modes have become the prioritized game modes. We get rushed and incomplete yearly installments where all progress is erased and we're fed mostly repetitive content with minimal game improvements.
I'll be waiting for the next release to drop before I even consider purchasing this game, or any game for that matter. I suspect my days of mainly playing sports titles is ending. I hope people take the same stance as I, because the gaming community deserves better.
Stop crying, no one cares. This game gives you all the free content in the world and is arguably the best sports game out by far…quit being a baby

You must not have tried online DD yet...lol But I will agree the graphics and animations are unbeatable.
DD is the absolute best part of this game. Obviously there are tons of babies on here who cry everytime something doesn't go their way....but

So everyone knows that if you mash triangle you get free hits. I've known it for some time. I have a very smart blue heeler so I thought to myself, if I train her to mash the triangle on command, could she make pennant race?
She did. She actually pulled it off. We were on directional but you gotta realize, a paw isn't designed for playstation. But my pixie pup made pennant race.

Have been playing this game since it came out and last night i completed the 8th inning map in a little over an hour. How in the heck have I been missing this game mode all of these years? The rewards are fantastic, i think i ended up getting a few diamonds and making over 30k in stubs just off of sells.
Shout out to those of you who told me to hop on that mode. Big time changer in my quest for mantle.

Of playing DD religiously.....i FINALLLY figured out how to work the market, specifically buy orders and sell orders for excess players. Can’t believe it took me this long, what a changer....I’ve completed 8 team collections alone in the last 30 minutes realizing how many stubs i can save and gain by these orders. Oh happy day
Cobb is better than Randy....you would be absolutely shocked with how much power Cobb actually has, and his arm is better than his attribute says. Plus, he literally glides in the outfield....I have no problem giving my opinion that Cobb is a top 3 player in this game.
Loving this assortment of answers......its quite interesting to see how people favor and play better with certain people.
I enjoy getting drunk by myself after the lady passes out and playing online......some may call that a problem, I call it fun.

95 percent of the moments are on rookie or veteran…come on man. Some def take longer than others but completing a moment is one of the easiest things to do in this game
After all these years and thousands of packs, I finally pulled Trout. Thank you SDS for my 17k stubs!!!!
I’m probably in the minority when I say I actually like the Showdown mode, but having to rip through 8 do or die moments at the mercy of the game is a little much. I have a pretty decent percentage of finishing on the first go, but there is nothing worse than getting to the 6th or 7th guy only to be robbed by ridiculous catches and perfect/perfects that get caught. Boom, 45 minutes completely down the drain. Complete turn off and makes you want to turn the game off.
With how much we have to grind this year, the time wasted on Showdowns needs to be taken into consideration. I’m not saying make it crazy easy, but 6 bosses i think should be more than fair for the little XP we get
