It’s wild to me watching some of these games and pitches thrown. Legit hanger after hanger and it almost seems like they get the pci perfect with time to spare. Then i run a game and dudes look like they are throwing 133 mph.

Have to admit, this year I took a MAJOR step back in how much I played this game. Not really by choice....have kids they said!

I have always considered myself a pretty solid player. Year in and year out many games over .500 in ranked. Pitching has always been my strong point, but in past games I definitely provided a solid bat as well.

I CANNOT hit online in 2025. I dont know if it's because I don't play as much or what...but ranked games even on All-Star i am getting blown away by fastballs and my PCI is allllll over the place.

Is this happening with anyone else?

To top it off, I watch a ton of streamers on YouTube and when you watch them play it looks like they are going up against high school pitching, its wild to me how slow it looks. I log on, getting blown away by AL LEITER.

Is it possible it has to do with my TV and the refresh? Are specific tv's/monitors required for optimal gameplay? Should I try another hitting view other than Strike Zone?

I've already chalked up one of the reasons being maybe I just suck now, but i've been playing this game religiously for almost 10 years and I have never, ever, ever been this bad.....and i'm doing my best to not let it put a sour taste in my mouth with this game.

I'm open to any suggestions that I could change up that could help outside of "getting good".

its no secret Sets and Seasons turned off ALOT of people, including myself. What was the point in grinding HOURS to acquire a certain card only for them to say "welp, now you cant use that card. Here is a sh*ttier version of him that you now have to put more hours towards".

Go back to the innings program. Get more legends. This game will be bigger than ever

Mystery is MVP Acuna. Still doesn't move me. Pretty big fail SDS.

You can give PLENTY of those guys high 80’s/low 90’s cards in the beginning or middle of seasons that would simply mix it up instead of giving the same player 7 different versions of himself. There were numerous guys on that list who had a very solid, or multiple, solid seasons

They are waiting until the playoffs and the 2nd drop to open the floodgates. We are going to be swarmed with end game stuff and all will be well for about 2-3 weeks

Ive never done a USA map in any of the shows before. My typical strategy is capture all of the blank spaces first, and continue to reinforce until im able to play all my opponents of Veteran. Only problem with that is the constant turns, by the time I get near the end of a small map alot of the spaces im simming aginst high numbers. I have to imagine that method won't work on this map?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, definitely want to try and knock this map out this weekend!

Is it due to me finishing mostly everything last season? Curious as to why collection rewards are unlocked wild card spots yet I have all 4 available.

Put a cap on the attributes. Maybe rid of the submarine style….but the create a player was always one of my favorite features

@Dolenz_PSN Thank you for that. I knew there was quite a bit more I just couldn't think and didn't have access to do the research. Will be fun when those 99's drop and they open up the entire inventory.

Really hoping we get an OP Sosa like last year. Wasn't crazy about his swing, but it was cool for a while having him in the lineup. Same with McGwire.

Still haven't gotten a 99 Hank Aaron, which is shocking.

Some 99 ovr Negro League players that are obtainable through either XP or Programs and not a ton of stubs.

What other cards haven't gotten a juiced up 99?

I am on ps5. And i do complete just about all of the "other programs"....might give Mini Seasons a try, never really got into those.

The one with Heyward? That is essentially the same thing as conquest....stats we accumulate in mini seasons go towards TA's right?

I typically just stick with online ranked and grinding conquests to finish the TA's....but each season, although I finish every TA division, I find myself wayyyyyy short of coming even close to getting a Boss. What are the best game modes outside Conquest and Ranked to acquire the most XP so I can enjoy playing with some of these boss cards?

Put your swing preferences aside, this might be the best card SDS has ever put out from a ratings perspective. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Also, major props to SDS for FINALLY giving us an end game card for a legend just about everyone was crazy excited for (Josh Gibson) only to give the community 3 weeks to play with him AND hide him behind a gazillion stubs. Good stuff guys
