It's official. Stripling doesn't count. I just did a quick Conquest game to test. Earned exactly 100 PXP and I got nothing toward May MA pitchers.

No it has to be the cards from the months cards, I used pitchers from the first monthly program they didnt count towards the devers one
Yeah, but there wasn't any other April players. Stripling is from May
-
Does anyone know if I can use Ross Stripling card from May 2018 to get XP in the May program? It says "...XP with May Monthly Award Pitchers"
I'm guessing not, but I might have to waste a game to find out for sure.
-
So for the mystery conquest, you still get the 5 packs, just none of the other rewards? Might be worth it.
-
I'm assuming if I buy the Jump Start pack, I will be horribly disappointed. Stubs seem like they're hard to come by this year, and the price of gold is down big time.
If I get 5 gold items for $15,000, that $3k a card. How does this make sense?
Am I missing something? Has anyone bought this and be glad they did?
-
I figured. Thanks though.
-
... or any of the other newer ones like Judge, etc.
I'm guessing the answer is no, but I never thought about it until just now.
-
Hmmm. That make sense, except what's the point in saving them? I guess if you had every single card and 5 mil.

60 people have orders in for Trey Turner between 999,000 and 999,999.
Is there any logical explanation for this?

Fernando is tough. You can only look fast, You can cover both the screwball and the fastball by looking fast. If he throws you a curve or change, tip your hat and don't care that you swung early and looked like a fool.
And like the poster above said, in Season 11 showdown, don't swing at the breaking pitches. I think he's a little different in the RIB showdown though. I am practically looking screwball in the RIB. His breaking ball looks like it drops more in the 11th
-
It is fixed. I checked The Show twitter account and just finished it up.
-
Anyone know if this is fixed? (1/15 8:00 am PT) I'm about 3/4 of the way through and don't want to start up again if it's still broken.
-
I have a harder time with Lee Smith's 95 than Ryan's 102.
Point is - yes. Certain guy's velo seems different than the radar gun.
-
In a showdown, I just had a perfect timing hit go just foul.
-
It's only the Daily Moment duplicates. But to answer your question why? Because if they were sellable while the moments were active, then you wouldn't have to do the moments. You could just buy the cards. Their way of making you do the moments. Now it would be nice if they made those cards sellable now that the whole daily moment thing is over with.
-
Has anyone noticed a difference in the RIB showdown over the last week? I've done at least 60 of these and typically win 8 or 9 out of 10. I've lost (I think) 7 of my last 8. Granted, there were some BS double plays, I'm not getting the perks I like, and some poor concentration at times, but still... this seems so much harder all of a sudden.

Not to turn this into a TV thread or anything but is the 120hz worth spending the extra money for? I'm on ps5 if that matters.
This was a TV thread from the beginning
I don't know the answer to your question, but I spent a little more (like $100 or so) for "upscaling" on my new TV. The picture really looks nice. That was worth it.

I've mentioned this before, but make sure the PS5 and tv are on the same frame rate and resolution. I had a lot of issues because I plugged my PS5 into a different input than I had used before, and the frame rate and resolution were clashing with the PS5 settings. I haven't had any issues since I realized it and matched them up. It might not be what you are experiencing, but it never hurts to check the settings on all devices.
I thought all plasmas were 600 or minimum 60hz?Interesting. I will have to look for that setting.
I've looked for the specs on my TV online and it looks like it does 60 Hz from the PC (VGA) input and maybe for 720 content, but from what I see, 1920x1080 is 24 Hz. Crazy right? The TV is from 2009 or early 2010.
The TV does have some old 3D features, so the more I think about it, it could be just slow processing.

Great suggestions. Fisk, Steve Carlton, Big Unit, Gooden, Strawberry, etc.
The thing I want is legend RPs (pre-1970's) Maybe Hoyt Wilhelm? I don't know who else might qualify as RPs back in the day were not good. But I like to have a "legends" team every year of old-time players and my RPs are always from the 80's
-
I just hooked up my PS5 to an older Samsung plasma that I think is 24 Hz. I was playing the RIB Showdown and got absolutely blow away. Severino just destroyed me. I played again just to be sure, and I couldn't catch up to 91 mph fastballs from Huston Street. I've played that showdown probably 50 times or more and never once lost to Huston Street.
It might be more than just the frame rate. Could be processing speed, but still. Does show how hard SDS makes this game that the reaction time needed is that insane.
Would be nice if the game could get the EDID info from the TV and adjust itself. The game in unplayable on this TV
