I am done with Showdown.
Was down one, runners on 2nd and 3rd, 2 outs remaining.
Hit a screaming line drive up the middle which the pitcher caught no look behind the back. Thought okay, still have another shot. Next pitch hit perfect-perfect fly ball to center which was robbed by Spider-Man climbing the fence and pulling it back for the last out and loss.
The CPU gave me not one, but TWO massive middle fingers and a giant F-U to prevent 70 program stars.
I have enough frustration being a single parent of a teenage daughter and a high school teacher trying to create distance learning lessons for everything from Algebra to Calculus... I don’t need this additional b.s.

On the other hand, if you “lock” a card in a collection, why should you still be able to sell it? You are rewarded for locking down those cards (granted, most of the rewards don’t replace the stubs spent for a collection.)
Now I know it has been that way in years passed, but “lock” should mean LOCKED. If you want to flip cards simply don’t do the collections.
It seems like a lot of you want rewards for collections but still want the ability to sell the cards. That honestly doesn’t make sense, no matter what was allowed before.
It would have been nice if they would have explained this MAJOR change in advance! I know I likely would NOT have locked in MANY of the cards I did if I had known in advance. Live and learn.

First moment: “Honus Wagner is widely regarded as one of the best shortstops in MLB history...”
And yet the player card the program unlocks is a CF that doesn’t even have SS as a secondary position.
Just... why?
He may not have played SS his rookie year, but why lead off the description of the first moment in the program with a position he can’t play?

A lot of people don’t watch all the streams. A simple pop up warning or posting in game would have been helpful.

Diamond can be quick sold.
Flash Sale
I love this game, and I think there are too many complaints. That said, showdown is the most infuriating thing I’ve ever played.
