Whats most amazing about this season is not the 304.2 innings, the 22 wins, the 9 losses(that seems high), the league leading 268 strikeouts, or the 13 shutouts, but he was pinch hit for six times, and was never taken off the mound!!!

Start 1 April 10 vs Atlanta. 7 innings 1 R 0 ER. Pinch hit for in the bottom of the 7th(by Bobby Tolan) even though he was 1 for 2. No decision

Start 2 April 15 at Atlanta. 7 innings 3R all earned. Pinch hit for in the top of the 8th again by Tolan. No decision

Start 7 May 12 Vs Houston. 8 innings 3 R 2 ER. Pinch hit for in the bottom of the 8th by Tim McCarver He lost the game 3-2

Start 9 May 22 vs LAD. 8 innings 1 run but lost the game to fall to 3-4 overall. McCarver again in the bottom of the 8th.

Start 23 Aug 4 vs Cubs. 11 innings 5 runs 4 earned. They lost 6-5 in 13 innings. Phil Gagliano pinch hit for him

Start 30 Sep 6 vs Giants. First of a double header. 8 innings 3 runes 2 earned. He took the loss in a 3-2 game. Johnny Edwards PH for him.

Thats it. 28 complete games. Four extra innings complete games. Four eight inning complete games, including losing a 1-0 game to Gaylord Perry who threw a no hitter in 1:40 on Sep 17th.

From June 6 to July 30 he started 11 games, completing them all for 99 innings, and allowed three runs.

If you load up the show nation website on your pc and go the to inventory tab, it will show you how many of each card you have. What I do is click on the “find on page” utility and type in x2 and It will tell you how many instances you have. I will right click on each instance and to open in new tab and set my sale price, close page. That will then take you back to the inventory page and just hit find next, rinse and repeat. I do the same thing searching for x3 or x4. I can get through them pretty quickly.

Nothing wrong with holding cards or putting “your” price on cards either. Patience is really the key in making bigger gains. While I wait I can flip for smaller gains. Either way I’ll eventually make more stubs.

Josh Hamilton is a POS human being, please do not glorify this drunken, drug addicted, child abusing waste of a human being with a card of any type in this game.

That is common. I have the commentary at the end talk bout a 9 out save when the final score was like 12-2. Matt will say a team has lost 8 of their last 10 then someone else talks about how great the team has been. This kind of thing happens all the time.

Pitching the last 3 innings is a save no matter what the score is

A save is pitching the end of a game with the tying run in the hole when you enter the game. Do your homework before coming on here and saying things that are not true.

A 3 inning save is baseball 101....

I watched my 13 year old play the final showdown yesterday and he went in down 15-11 and he led off with a single up the middle, stole 2nd, stole 3rd and scored on SF. The next 5 players each hit line drives to either the 1st or 3rd baseman and you could just see my son's soul being ripped from him. Each line drive was 100 mph exit velocity and 4 of the 5 the player had to leave their feet to make the grab. At this point he lost it and didn't even get a hit the rest of the round because he could no longer think straight.

I don't see how anyone can dictate or even determine what is the best way to flip. That is for each user to figure out. There are several strategies to choose from.
The only strategy that kinda grates me is the bulk sale of 15 cards at the same price. Just brings any movement to a halt. I'd rather see the same 15 cards be entered at different price but I also understand the simplicity of entering one amount, so to each their own.

I was just reading through the thread and I thought I could add something that I think is unique considering how pitchers are treated currently.

This would be an amazing feature and would truly allow franchises to be played from an historical perspective. If High Heat baseball back in early 2000 could do this with a variable length schedule I can't see how a game couldn't almost 20 years later.

Would also love to see some sort of stadium creator as well, although I prefer to play in the old time stadiums, but may be the addition of more classic stadiums would suffice.

What’s the point of the 10% tax? Is there reason for it to exist?

Ebbets was included in the old High Heat series and MVP, not sure why it would be excluded from MLB. Sportsman Pk was not in High Heat, but was included in MVP and MLB, not sure what controls this. Would love to see Ebbets in the game. I prefer to play franchise in all old time parks especially if you’re using a historical roster.

Generally there is a window of time(4/5 days, i forget) the player must pass through waivers before he is cleared from your roster.

Everyone who's hating on the guy here knows very well themselves that sometimes you can sit on something, know it's coming and you still can't hit it. Give him a break, he makes a valid point.

This would mean you are really bad at the game. So if a valid point is “he is terrible” then sure.

I'm not bad at the game at all and I've been in this situation. I'm sure you have too. Even top players themselves have these issues sometimes, I saw Kyle the other day playing his Custom League matchup and he knew the Kluber sinker in was coming and he was too late 9 out of 10 times. Almost threw his controller through his monitor out of frustration. But I guess you're better than him, that's cool.

Kyle was on legend. I doubt this dude was. I also doubt kyle was playing a guy who threw 70 of 90 sinkers. Klubers change slurve and cutter are also nasty. So the opportunities to sit sinker vs a guy who knows how yo use kluber on legend is slim.

So no im not better than kyle. I am howevet better than you and mr I knew a sinker was coming 80% of the time and still could not hit it.

Out of curiosity, what makes you think you're better than me exactly? I don't recall you ever playing me before. And if we look at leaderboards and accomplishments in previous years, I'm willing to bet the house you're losing that fight.

There are actually quite a few very capable players on the forums, like @skepple15 @mitchhammond24 @frizbgirl22 and myself. I'm sure I missed out on some other dudes who are pretty good as well. We all accomplished a lot in this game, and yet I never heard of you before. What makes you so entitled?

Everything you say above is correct, there is nothing wrong with reporting it especially with the youth that enjoy playing the game, but the original poster didn’t need to come on the board and grand strand and pat him/herself on the back afterwards in order to validate their actions. Now If SDS did nothing about it after a period of time then by all means take it to the board if you must, however it appears SDS is taking care of the issue. Just my opinion.

I'm only having an issue if I use player lock. If I enter play full game the stadium displays correctly.
