You will never stop dashboarding in this game, the community gets more and more toxic every year. But they could avoid this situation all together by allowing people to do the prestige grind offline. You just double the stats required like they do for the team affinity innings.

I wouldn't have a problem with the offline crowd having that option.

Getting warmed up for '21's forums I see. Your internet will be garbage just like it was 4 years ago when I first started seeing your threads for this game. I suggest you save your $100 or play CPU. No disrespect

LoL Jansen is pretty good for me but yeah....he isn't great. I don't have that experience with Trout at all, he plays LF for me

I'd put it between 450-600 total. 800 if you don't pull Trout or any gate keepers.

I usually pull 150-200 packs, bang out whatever collections I can for XP and stubs back, reload and turn to the market.

No chance in hell at 450 day 1.

Pulled Trout at minute 52 after launch for 19.

Absolutely can be done. I was streaming too.

Matter of fact, I preloaded $240 to my PS account as that was the max. And swiped twice at $100 to finish. Pre-order for MLB and GameStop had me with 80 packs before I spent a stub.

That's really extreme. I applaud your luck but pretty naive to ever expect that to happen again on release day.

LoL both of those opponents weren't hitting above .183 combined, I'd say it wasn't the PS5 that helped here.

Same strategy every year for me, get the BR 12 win reward and build team with the stubs

Interesting convo, don't think at all that you're the only one OP. I definitely never have and never will even though I can afford it .Solely based on principle and because stubs were so easy this year it's not even funny. Also, I competed just fine against teams in ranked who had sheffield/biggio/mantle and that for me was the best possible trio I could have expected going into MLB20.
Would be nice to see Clemente or Aaron announced though...but I mean; there's 1 million OFs in the game I think I'll be fine using low diamonds for the first few weeks lol.

Griffey for sure, lefty on lefty exit velo is still legit when squared you won't be losing out on any power & you'll gain speed & def on top of that.

Ted starts in left. Prestiged Soto is on my bench. Ted is more reliable for me personally. I think it's because I tend to pull the ball more and Soto has the shift making that more difficult. Ted doesn't have the shift so he hits more gaps for me. Overall Soto does have more HR's per at bat, but Ted's avg is better. I'd happily put Soto 3rd if I didn't have Ted, but for me it makes more sense.

I like the comp you've mentioned between Ted & Soto, both silver D with amazing bats. Prestige Soto (Off the top of my head? Please correct If I'm mistaken) doesn't have a shift so that's evened out at that point but agree with you.
