I am currently managing a season and I play every game, why does max scherzer come into the game in relief in the 8th when im up a run? It’s not realistic, so there a way to change sliders to make sure this doesn’t happen anymore, this is ticking me off that the team I face will use all of their starters in one game.

That’s good, but seriously, I hate that the game is moving away from simulation, you’re telling me you’ve never gotten a very early hit. Yeah, they are very annoying, but it’s just something you deal with, thank you for your time.

Simulation is a bad thing.. go play ootp if you want sim. In an online video game User input should be the most important factor by far.

Simulation as in realistic, not me watching the game play itself

I know exactly what you mean, sim and realism is a bad thing and takes away from user input. You know what’s not realistic? Me hitting .330 overall through 400 online games last year or me hitting .460 with finest bellinger through 400 at bats, that’s not realistic. So what happens then? Simulation factors will take away from my input to make numbers more realistic.

Ah, now I see, yea I guess. I’m just saying, yea very early hits shouldn’t be in the game, but if those are the only hits your opponents can get, that means you’re doing a pretty good job pitching.

The problem is when you’re winning a game say 14-6 and your opponent goes very early double, very late rbi single, early single, early 3 homerun, That’s a big difference now being up 14-10 instead of 14-6

That happens in baseball too, it’s not Ideal, most call it terrible luck, but it’s just how it goes.

I don’t want luck influencing a video game, I want user input influencing the game
And the user input caused a hit

I swear it’s like one guy posting all of these under different names smh, nobody cares that you lost, this is baseball, you lose 2-win 5-lose 1-win 6, if you change it anymore it’s no longer a sports game.

I am close to stage 2 of NL East TA. For me Dom Smith was the obvious pick for Stage 1. He hasn’t disappointed! Been my clean up hitter ever since.

He’s nasty, all star is a bit shaky if you hang the Changeup, but on hof he is straight unhittable, easily top 2 in my rotation and I have every 42 card.
