actually benefit the team building process

These cards do just that, eventually. The evolution cards themselves may never see a normal lineup but they are helpful when it comes to collections. This month alone we got 2 rookie cards (Cruz and Ford), 1 signature card (Ford), 1 awards card (Cruz), and 1 Milestone (Sandoval). That's now 5 less card you need to buy for Mo and whoever is next. And there will be a next, Mo isn't the end. Next one will be like the Mo collection, except each voucher will require a lot more of each card.

Now add up all that we've gotten in the dalies since launch. That's a lot of stubs saved from getting these free and not having to buy when the next collection drops.

Why are you thanking those who sent videos though your support portal and private channels? They did that and you did nothing until it got posted publicly on YouTube. They tried to do it your way and you did nothing. Going public and calling you out was what got your attention.

I'm not trying to be rude, or cause any drama because I understand that this must be a difficult time to work because of what is going on in the world, but we all know what got your attention.

  • ImNotVeryGood38I ImNotVeryGood38

This patch was just intended to punish their player base and force them into buying stubs, pure and simple. They patched out any method that made gaining XP or rewards quicker but didn't touch the poor game play. SDS's priorities are clear.

Patching retro mode isn't a big deal. It's a little annoying, but it was an exploit. I knew that one was coming eventually.

Fixing the stealing glitch hurts, but only because you purposely made showdown harder than it needs to be. You guys can tweek the sliders to purposely make showdown harder, but patch the one thing that helps us? Why don't you just make showdown fair? There would be no need for the steal glitch if they were.

MTO double points was the only thing that made MTO worth doing. People actually played this mode more because it actually felt rewarding.

HR Derby patch was the most unnecessary of them all. It wasn't an exploit. It was just playing the game legitimately. If someone want to mindlessly play a mode that you put in the game, then they should be able to.

EDIT - And of course a stub sale just dropped.

  • Do you hate yourself after blowing a pile of stubs on packs and not pulling anything?
  • ImNotVeryGood38I ImNotVeryGood38

I learned after my first year playing The Show to never buy packs.

What’s the difference between casual online & ranked season? Can you complete missions on casual play?

Casual means just that, casual. It doesn't count for anything, just play for fun with your squad. You can't complete missions in casual. Ranked is competitive with you ranking up or down based on wins and losses. Missions can be completed in ranked. Ranked also has rewards and casual does not.

Maybe because the 2nd inning program is shorter in length? That's my guess.

The content creators (SDS partners) are also letting their frustrations out in their videos. Hopefully it does lead to fixing fielding.

None of them have Sony Partner in their twitter bios anymore. Did SDS do away with the whole Sony Partner thing? Maybe that's why they are complaining now. They were quiet about the games flaws last year when they were partners. Now they are vocal. Maybe they are allowed to be vocal now that they aren't partners?

Fingers was nasty last year. But you can't go wrong wither either Fingers or Hal.

  • How do I get the 99 ovr Eric Thames?
  • ImNotVeryGood38I ImNotVeryGood38

@BodamEscapePlan said in How do I get the 99 ovr Eric Thames?:

After you level up past Diamond 99 in the XP Path, I guess another tier opens up which is "Prestige" or "Elite" or something and you unlock a 99 overall TS18 Finest Jose Ramirez, TS17 Playoff George Springer, and the POTM Eric Thames (which was one of my favorite cards ever!)

I'm taking Thames first if I ever get there.

  • Fielding is unacceptable!!
  • ImNotVeryGood38I ImNotVeryGood38

I'm sticking to offline for a while. Hopefully they fix it soon. It makes playing online a gamble. I'm not very good, but I want to lose because I deserved the loss, just because an unnecessary error lost me the game.

The real prize of the program for me is all the diamond equipment for my CAP.

  • Advice on no money spent team?
  • ImNotVeryGood38I ImNotVeryGood38

Conquest. Lots of XP and free packs to be had. You can play most of the games on rookie so you can knock it out with a team full of lower rated cards easy.

I gave up on this one and just did the exchange.

  • Why was XP in games vs. the CPU nerfed?
  • ImNotVeryGood38I ImNotVeryGood38

@Crimson_Monk said in Why was XP in games vs. the CPU nerfed?:

But also xp is performance based and difficulty based I think.

I played on the same difficulty before and after patch. I get it being performance based but the performance difference isn't roughly 50% lower than every game pre patch. Also pitching is the dead giveaway. I could strike out the side of the CPU pre patch and get about 450-500 XP for the half inning and now if I do the exact same I'm getting 250-270 XP for the same half inning. Overall I was getting 8-9K XP consistently per game pre-patch and now I'm consistently getting 4-5K now.

Something was very clearly changed. I'm grinding out the innings on the exact same difficulty as I did before. Nothing on my end has changed, only the XP I'm getting.

  • Why was XP in games vs. the CPU nerfed?
  • ImNotVeryGood38I ImNotVeryGood38

I'm getting noticeably less XP per inning after the patch compared to what I was getting before the patch. Why did they change it? I was leveling up pretty good while grinding out affinity innings. Or did I just answer my own question?
