having a really tough time getting motivated to pick up the controller , this season 2 [censored] has stolen all my motivation and converted it into angst , i had finally amassed a great catalog of players for all situations and now im back to square one

played a bit last night , cant get motivated today

i agree with you 1000% my play time is limited , i want to rack up 10 runs a game , you know , HAVE FUN , its not a "Baseball Simulation" its a "Baseball Game" , if people want the real baseball experience then thats what the harder levels are suppose to afford them , but this [censored] where im on rookie and grinding out 3 hits and a single run a game with all diamond players is BS

screw that new program

have to admit , not being able to hit the ball makes this game so much more fun than lets say , actually being able to hit , when you have 3 good timed pitches in an at bat with zero contact is what i live for , it doesnt get any better than that ,oh wait

maybe if you actually do make contact only to have infielders dive 10 feet and throw a 80 speed runner out at first while on his wallet , yea thats whats fun , i live for those moments , no wait

we need more spinning back flip hand stand cartwheel 2 1/2 gainer F ART boosted 14 foot high HR robs at the wall , no wait

that would occupy time that would be better utilized , by the rare deafoning crack of the bat perfect perfect bomb that dies on the warning track , yea thats what makes this game so awsome , no wait

we need to flood the game with a bunch of diluted POS diamond cards that hit as well as the bronze did before the game became about buying packs to get diamond players

they need to get back to the way it was in the beginning

Commons were your fill in players , and were used
Bronze were your meat and potato players
Silvers were your back bone players leaned on the heaviest
Gold were your Star players
Diamonds were reserved for "Super Star" stand out Live , Legend ,and Special players and were beast cards when you had one

the value of a Diamond card is on par with the dollar in Venezuela where a roll or toilet paper costs $50

@AllRise99_NSW early on in the games history they had it , players unloading on umps , players raging on players , they even had batters charging the mound and the benches clearing and then without a peep they stopped it , i remember thinking it didnt paint the game in a possitive light is why they stopped it

they also had the announcers ragging players , like David Ortiz running to first base , " my lord , he runs like he has a piano strapped to his back" , they stopped that too , then they had pitches hitting the plate ump in the head and he would roll around in the dirt , that lasted one installment and the next year once every 10 games or so and the year after that non existent

players use to get irate if they did not agree how the game rated them stating it affected their negotiating power

@MileHiMayhem are you sure you did not play the game as "steal" and not attack? , if you did it as "steal" it will take fans away from the SH depending on what vel you played but the SH will still need to be taken under attack

not playing season 2 is cutting your nose off to spite your face , you already given your money to them , only not buying next year will ring your message loud and clear , i took last year as a skip year because you could not finish programs without playing multiplayer before , i despise multi , so i was sick of throwing my money at them , they had started loosening their grip on the cards it was not enough , so seasons is new to me , dont care for it , i think the energy would have been better utilized in shoring up game quality and function , this is like having a car that runs like Sh** and buying a $2k stereo system for it instead of putting it into making it run better , except at least with the car you would have nice tunes while you are broke down

@YOSHI24_XBL the problem is they use to make the content too challenging and those of us that cant live the game were mired down in content we would never finish

Acuna , Trout , Tatis all were giants and untarnishable , the game seems to be shifting away from them

they can adjust the XP accordingly , I DONT CARE !

i rarely finish the XP programs anyway its not what i play for , i already resign the fact i will not get enough to finish before it expires

no 4th conquest , no HR derby conquest , no allstar conquest , 3 perfect examples of opportunity to brag on lazy fully utilized

hitting is broken

they need to stop the diamond fever and get back to what made this game so popular in the first place

first make it fun , make each skill level clear and seperate from the one under and the one over , at least for play vs CPU , if someone wants the real experience thats what the harder levels are for , for those of us that dont live in our parents basement and only play a couple times a week and against CPU we want to dismantle our opponent and have fun , our play time is limited , getting 3 hits in 3 games is not what we want , some nights we may not even get to play 3 games

if they want to have dynamic leave it optional for against CPU instead of locking it , if you want to play live persons then that what you want in the first place

reduce the number of diamonds and distribute skill throughout all the cards again , its gotten to the point where gold and below are nothing ,ore than nuisance cards , if thats all they are then why spend any energy on them at all , delete them and do away with levels , its not like we have them now , i had a gold card pitcher that was more stable , and accurate than Ohtani yesterday its ridiculous

@Jacky-Chan1_XBL yea it was , they have been real good about that in recent times , they use to not be so , they would force you to play parts of the game you normally dont to complete programs or you wouldnt complete them , the repeatable paralel has always been there on the program you just didnt realize it

yea ,get error "invalid roster" , and "must have 9 active players on roster" , cant even play conquest , game was fine last night and afterupdate un useable , they need to give us some diamond packs for this trash

this map has been my grind since they first started conquest , i switch between Mini Seasons and conquest because i despise live play , interactions with people in the game just is not my cup of tea

yup , tried everything , rebooted several times , its a brick

sounds familiar , but not cheating , op is precisely why i hate playing with strangers , sore losers and beggers ,"can you give me a HR , i will give you the game" , sure give me 20 runs firs i will give you a free HR , before the time limits they would set their controller down and walk away waiting for you to forfeit to get a win , people suck ,op needs to grow up
