Are you referring to last years' live streams or the cover announcement?
I understood why The Show 21 released in mid April, most of their development took place during the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. But I'm a little annoyed that this years game doesn't launch until April 5. Opening Day is scheduled for March 31 (if the season starts on time). Wouldn't you want the game to come out before Opening Day instead of a week later? I'm really hoping that this release date is also due to covid, and that we can get back to the mid to late March release date. Obviously in the grand scheme of the life of the game, it's not the biggest deal, but I loved being able to play The Show at the height of my excitement for Opening Day, as spring training was winding down.

If you don’t play online why do you care so much about the state of online play? Finally someone speaking my language, I basically just call those people online DD casual noobs, they only care about hitting homeruns and scoring 15 runs a game and collecting cards. They basically don't care about the simulation aspect of baseball...they just want to play arcade baseball.....Like how F1 players just play online as bumper cars instead of respecting the sport and racing and making proper moves.
It also can come down to the skill level of the player. Also not all game modes are the same. MTO Rookie feels more like Conquest Veteran. vrs. CPU Rookie feels like MTO Beginner. I have won some games in vrs. CPU on All-Star. Conquest All-Star tears me to pieces.
I think all players have a sweet spot in difficulty. I started playing MTO at Beginner, figured out 75% of the pitches are center cut just high of middle, it wasn't fun anymore. Rookie & Vet make me have to be patient, so that's where I have the most fun. Played one season on Dynamic entered the playoffs at Vet+ hitting and AS pitching. Had trouble not walking batters. Offense was spotty (realistically) and I had to win a game 7 with a miracle walk-off HR to get to the WS. That was the most fun I'd had in the game because I was sooo close to actually losing the NLCS. If you or the OP play on the same difficulty and sweep every series by double digit run differential then yeah play higher, but don't put down the people who do find it a challenge.
Its good you're having fun with all those modes....I would be completely bored from the lack of challenge required for those fluff modes. For me its Franchise on Legend hitting and pitching with pitch speeds maxed at 10 with a slider set I've worked on for about 70 hours and ideas taken from Operations Sports before I start the regular season.
You spent 70 hours adjusting your sliders? Is this supposed to be a flex lmao?

I never know if new legend means someone we haven’t seen yet or could it be a high rated Hank Aaron or Kirby Puckett and that would be considered a new legend?
I know we’re getting a new legend as 1 of the 3 bosses. I’m guessing these guys will be 96-97 overall, but I have no idea who to expect.

The ability to use 2 way players the way they are used in real life, for both this game and for fantasy. You’ve had years to figure this out now, and so far all the “solutions” have been awful
