Online games not connecting, just me or what?

The ability to search for only duplicates just made my day!

I did the same thing with uniforms after a few adult beverages... It really just shouldn't allow you to choose a non sellable card/item twice.

I've had the same problem, glad I caught it in time before it burnt me.

I hit 4 hrs with Griffey last night only to lose a showdown going in 12-12... Lesson learned from this experience, don't drink and game... It's just not worth the emptyniness feeling of loss the next day.

You’re just talking to talk bud. You can’t blame Microsoft. This happens every year. Also , the game is not , nor has it ever been ‘free’ . Game pass is a subscribed to service that requires dollars and cents to keep active. Games come and go from it like shows and movies do on streaming services. Is every show or movie on Netflix free too?

Lastly all developers are compensated when their games are added to the game pass subscription service , so compensation is agreed upon by developer and provider in this instance. If there is anyone to be mad at regarding the influx of game pass mlb the show participants then it’s SDS. They essentially sold out.

Maybe if I hadn't gone through 3 xbox 360`s I would have a better view of them. I'm honestly just frustrated and want to play the game I paid for...

Get your facts correct! MLB published the game and make the decision to make the game multi-platform.

Yes I understand that, Microsoft made the game basically free to anyone that plays online right before launch. Honestly I'm just frustrated that I cant play a game I spent along time waiting for and also $100.

I am new to online play, this was my first year playing DD. I played all year on a reg PS4 with a reg TV just switched to game mode. I’ve done OK, but I feel to get to the next level and be more competitive I would need a monitor to help with hitting. I know seemingly all the competitive players play on a monitor, I’ve just literally played all video games my entire life on a reg TV(from Nintendo all the way up through every PS).

Money is not an issue. I’m willing to spend on a monitor or a new TV if it will help with any timing/lag issues with online play. Thoughts? Also any monitor suggestions to pair with a PS5 if you do suggest using a monitor?

I have the PS5 and Xbox series x. I just bought the LG CX 65”. In game mode on that specific tv I hit way better than on my monitor playing 20. If you can afford to get the CX, do it. No sense in wasting next gen games on a 27” monitor IMO. The frame rates and visual fidelity are amazing with that TV.

I've got the same TV(55inch) and notice that minor league stadiums at night fade(get darker) a little sometimes. MLB stadiums no issues at all, have you seen this issue, what setting do I you use on your TV besides game mode?

Early on in the year I bunted into a quadruple play in showdown. Bases loaded and I popped out to the pitcher and they threw it around the bases. Has this happened to anyone else? It took me a while to recover mentally afterwards lol!

Recently switched to a monitor and it has changed my hitting drastically for the better!

6-3, 3 run bomb in the first and then a nail biter until I finally scored a few more runs. Just recently switched to a monitor and my hitting has drastically improved and has really made this game more enjoyable. Would have been shutout with one hit on my tv...
