You can win with any cards, but you can also lose with any cards. It’s not so much this that gives cause for concern, after all line up variety and diversity are a positive aspect to diamond dynasty generally. The problem here is you can win without actually outplaying your opponent and lose in a converse fashion. I’m not talking about a 3 inning BR [censored] shoot where luck can play a bigger part than skill. I’m talking about a RS game where you can play nine innings, have consistently better inputs than your opponent, exhibit superior plate discipline and tactical awareness, yet come away having been absolutely destroyed by a bad player, taking bad swings throughout the entire game. That’s not really acceptable.

It seems as though you somehow translated my post into “SDS should listen to me.” What I actually said was, they should listen to what the player base are saying. They’re the ones who spend countless hours (combined, not as individual entities) playing the game. They’re the ones who are left to find the flaws that don’t show up in 5m simulated ABs, like the catcher meter not appearing for the third year in a row, or outfielders not fielding balls near walls for the second year in a row. While I count myself as a member of that player base, I’m not pompous or naive enough to believe that this game should be designed to solely suit my own personal vision of the game.

Obviously, judging by the tone of the posts in relation to gameplay on this forum of late, SDS have once again missed their mark. I believe I have a fairly reasonable perception and perspective as regards the game in general.

He hit a screaming liner that the pitcher had to duck for his life for. It had to travel 200mph straight to the wall!
And the sound it made. Never heard any sound off any bat this year!

It only goes up to 15. 12's and 13's are great.

That said I did play a rare Ranked game last night and perfected a guy through the first 25 outs. Faced the min 27 batters but he got me in the 9th. On All Star.

I think 11, 12, 13s are good if you are early, but I make a lot of outs with those when I'm even a smidge late. I usually try to hit it on the big dot, so most of my pci is under the ball. That results in fly outs and pop ups if I'm not kind of early with it.

They do it from their Deep State fortress in the Flat Earth city of San Diego. Elvis is an intern this year. All decisions must first be cleared with the Lizard People overlords.

Plus this years game is nowhere near one of it worst. I put 18 as a recent worst and probably 17 right behind that.

I agree. 17 gets romanticized as such a great game when the fact is you couldn’t play online for the first 2 months due to horrible servers, content drops were pretty much twice a month instead of twice a week, and literally half the cards were unusable because of topspin/swing types. Not to mention to hit the ball hard you hard to be just late

I thought that opponent's PCI showed up for online pitchers in MLBTS 15 and 16, if I remember correctly.

The beta played well for 20. Then people cried because the hitting was just insanely fun on early release. SDS is about money and keeping the subpar players around. Before they patched hitting I’m pretty sure most people we hitting 400 plus as a team

That's a complete lie and you are over exaggerating. I have played this game almost daily since launch and I don't think I have ever played at minute maid during the rain. I have played over 200 ranked seasons games and probably 100 events games. 90% of my games are at shippett. Stop your lying Little Billy.

And you're full of [censored]. I dont give a [censored] how many games you've played or where they've been. I was sharing my experience so sit this one out champ.

They don’t care is the answer in my mind. Content has been amazing, but the little issues we have with the game amount into it being a nightmare to play.

I can sit here all day and post screenshots of pci results, bad fielding, etc. Top 5 players continue to say how bad gameplay is, the players tourney was an embarrassment... It would go a long way if SDS at least attempted to explain outcomes, gameplay issues, plans to resolve those issues. Say something...

Comparing apples to oranges here. The skill gap in the MLB isn't anywhere near the top to bottom in this game. Go to twitch and watch pitching rebels ESL stream. Literally epitomizes the issues with this game. Kyle literally talked about how much RNG is involved.... SDS needs to wake TF up

Those guys arent the guys who play this game though. You cannot take what they say seriously. yes, many issues with this game. But those babies arent the ones you want to listen to dude. That is beyond the top 1 percenters who believe they can do no wrong.

What rewards do you want then? We aren’t getting Mantle type players if you think those will be the rewards at this point in the year

Maybe overall, not .280 in showdown. I have a feeling they can only generate overall stats. Plus, by using the overall number it won’t vary like it would in individual modes. Where’s the moment average, showdown average, pvp average, conquest average, and vs cpu average. Blindly believing a stat is why politicians love polls, you can create whatever number you want to back up your rhetoric.

I was being massively sarcastic. As you point out, it would be fascinating to see the showdown and moments stats.
