People are terrified of him and for good reason. in 33 at-bats with him, I have 11 hits which isn't that impressive, but also 10 walks.

I don't actually think this is too hot a take depending on how you look at it. I still think this years 99 Trout is the best ever, but it's perfectly reasonable to have Soto as an inner circle DD hitting card.

I’m 5-6 with 4 hrs in 2 games. Trout is great, but I enjoy Soto’s swing.

Not surprising. People pitch around Soto because they know if a pitch reaches the strike zone it’s over.

He hit a screaming liner that the pitcher had to duck for his life for. It had to travel 200mph straight to the wall!
And the sound it made. Never heard any sound off any bat this year! -
