Nothing close to an English nerd here, but also hate them. Too easy to fix, and you learn about them very early on. It is just lazy.

@Tylerslikewhoa_XBL said in Game wont recognize button press at pinch hit screen:
Using 3rd party controllers are sus
How is that sus? I've been using it since this game came out
Was just beating someone by 1 run in the 7th inning. My pitcher was coming up and it switched to the blue screen asking if I wanted to pinch hit for my pitcher. I was pressing A and the back paddle which is mapped to the A button and it wouldn't register the button press. The timer ran down and dude took the win with my game being forfeited.
How TF does this happen? I've been playing since 2014 and this is the first time I've seen this. I unplugged the controller, it's a wired Power A and plugged it back in but it wouldn't recognize me pressing the A button. I hit the home button and that worked, went to settings and pressed A and it worked. Is this some kind of forced glitch the other person did?
I pulled trout last year from a standard pack. That will never happen again. I did pull acuna jr and Aaron judge this year. Acuna was the first day I got the game and judge was last night.
I use a power A brand wired controller for the show
I did the takashi collection. Cost me 260k but oh well, I got Babe and maddux out of it and Rickey for a pinch runner on the bench. I've got 380k left that I'll probably sit on for a while and see what content comes out next. Interested in that Bobby Miller card but I'll wait and get him for free grinding that program.
@D_e_m_I_s_E_PSN
I always do really good with babe ruth and greg maddux. I was thinking about doing the takashi collection for those 2 cards alone. Would cost me 250k and I can throw Babe at 1B, no way he's going in the outfield with how slow he is
Randy is the only reason I want to do the LS collection but it's hard justifying that kind of time and stubs for someone I can't use every game, I also agree about Frank having a slow [censored] swing and I never do good with his card.
I've saved up 650k stubs, and would like some help spending it. I haven't done [censored] for the live series collection, and don't have anywhere near enough to complete it. I don't have the time to sit there and flip cards this year or I would, I'd rather just play the game when I have free time. Here's what my team looks like so far
1B P5 Fotf Devers, 2B P5 Fotf Seager, SS P5 2nd half marte, 3B P5 Breakout Eddie, LF P5 Fotf Robert, CF P5 Fotf Trout, RF P5 Fotf Mullins, C My cap
SP- 88 Randy, 89 Verlander, 92 Keuchel, 90 Burnes, 90 Manoah
Pen- P5 Hader, P3 Ottavino, P3 Britton, 87 Eovaldi, P5 Fotf Chapman, 93 Hoffman, 91 Cishek
Hope that they actually fix it. I lost stubs buying yelich last year and they never reimbursed me for it.
I don’t pre order the game anymore and only grind conquest the first week or so to avoid this kind of [censored] because it happens every year
Challenge of the week is great practice. It starts off slow and low level and increases as you go. I try to do it every night before I play a ranked game.
I play on a series s. There is so much lag when Tatis is up to bat. Not even moving the Pci, soon as the pitcher throws the ball it feels like the fps tanks, I can't read the pitch or hit it to save my [censored] life.
Does it do this on the series x too?
The dead zones on my series s controller are awful, making the pci movement really jumpy. I've seen the series x controller is the same way. I've got a series x coming and want to order a controller but don't know which one I should get that doesnt have this stupid issue. Controller suggestions would be greatly appreciated
