@Zshakeswitch I won’t be giving them my money this year either. This was more just venting that they ruined DD and it sucks for guys that have been loyal to them for years like we have been.

I’m having more fun now with my theme teams and captain cards now that my entire inventory is open. I like the seasons reset but am ok with no sets.

My biggest issue with this past season was 99's from the start and especially multiple 99's of the same players. With the Power Creep back, that should not be an issue. If you are still using 88-91's after 12 weeks, i'd be surprised and if you do grab a few of the available 99's through collections, you'll still be able to slide 4 of them into the WC slots. I think they've made a huge improvement on the disaster that was the Show 23, and there would be no way i'd want to keep playing it for another year......onto to 24!

You want to drop 99 Trout day 1? Then I don’t want to see any 95s, 97s, etc.

There’s plenty of other players they can choose from. If they want to release silvers, golds, they shouldn’t be of someone that has a higher overall card. Those cards can go to some lesser known players if need be.

I don't think that was ever a rule... this year was clearly different with them doing seasons... we won't be able to use all sets until Dec/Jan when Season 6 arrives and we'd also have to look at the cards side by side and through the overall away and see what the attributes are for the categories that matter... you never know the 97 Trout might be better than both 99 Trout cards... but you won't know that until you use the card(s) or at minimum compare the key attributes.

It was obviously never a rule. It’s a suggestion to make DD better.

They dont have an answer , I think its a glitch with the cool down deal . Now why implement something like that when you got 5000 issues already you cant fix?

Yeah, looks like the championship bundle goal is once only. I guess that makes it extreme 🙂

I’ve heard people say it helps with timing windows. I’m just not buying it. It seems like it’s only a crutch for people to foul off 20 pitches an AB which I guess does make a difference, but as it stands, it should either be removed from the game or given a new purpose like they did with Clutch.

It definitely affects timing windows, I tested it out a lot cause I didn’t believe it. One reason of not the main the timing windows feel like a roulette table at times IMO.

The rest of your post I agree with 100 percent, absolutely no reason to have it in the game, besides timing which I don’t think ot should affect it. Its main purpose is to cause foul off after foul off. They know this and will never remove it.

How did you test it? I’ve seen no difference between using someone with 100 vision or 50 vision. If anything I feel like I actually hit better with lower vision players but there can be a lot of reasons for that.

Took a LS card of player (Jazz was one) and took their best card. Went to BP with my normal sliders, legend FB jacked almost to the max, Selected inside heat only. Started with the best card went till I was warmed and timing it up for a good 20 count. Switched to the LS card, usually face degrom. I was constantly late could never time it up good. Tried all types of players.

I believe you but it’s hard to think that translates the same to DD. I’m using the HR Derby Kris Bryant that has 37 points lower vision than his 99 and feel like I’m hitting even better with the lower vision. I’ve noticed this with Trevor Story cards too. It’s not just solid hits but perfect/perfects which would require better timing.

But for the previous posts, I can definitely see how it would make a difference for timing/directional users.

The lag and daylight has kept me from really trying this event. It’s been a struggle with half the games I’ve played in it. Which is 15-20 games.

Yup every time I've used the Jose Ramirez HRD card i've been hit at least once in a game (had one were he was hit 3 times). The CPU pitchers are all over the place right now and if it's a strike it's a dot to one of the corners. So yes I agree, i just want to hit.

The 1st Editions of Big Dog and Always Intense were labeled as such.

They released Tool Box, not Tool Box 1.

There are restrictions for stadiums. I have 2 that I use for mini seasons that I can't online because they're too short. I have one that is shorter and high elevation and I find it fun because personally I don't like pitching duels. I like homeruns even if that means I lose the game because of my quirky field. I'd rather play someone's created stadium over Shippett and Coors field every game.

You have to restart the map until it gives you 30 fans in your starting territory to start. You don’t have to play any games or strongholds, just conquer the territories.

But I have already finished it. Do I just continue to restart the map until it gives me 30 fans to start? I just went through the rest of SD and got nothing new

Yes, reset until it shows you with 30 fans on your first turn, you may have to restart the game itself for it to work. You get 10 packs, 6 standard, 2 ballin, a headliner I forget the set # and a legendary bat skin.
