Content was actually great this year.

Just turned on the game for the first time in 6 months this weekend. The content was disappointing to say the least during the year, but now that content is over and these silly sets aren’t effecting what players I can use, the content is actually pretty good.
I think that as long as SDS wants to continue with the Season structure, I’ll just pick up the game around August/September and then I don’t even have to worry about not being able to use certain cards and there will be a ton of content to work on instead of getting drip fed programs throughout the year. I can see what cards are already in the game and determine if the program is even worth it, instead of grinding programs to unlock cards that already have 4-5 versions of them in the game just to have them expire shortly after.
Finding out seasons are back just brought life back into 23 for me knowing that ill be playing this until late summer.

Just started playing also after a few months hiatus. I can finally play ranked seasons with any card I wan. Heck might not even buy the new game if there are not any new legends I want to use or if the grind is a 2nd job.

@Atomic_Duckii that’s my plan. I might pick it up around October-November if it looks appealing. Or just wait til they actually drop a PS5 version at this point.

I’m having more fun now with my theme teams and captain cards now that my entire inventory is open. I like the seasons reset but am ok with no sets.
