Needed 20 more points to finish stage 3 of the Reds and decided to do The Showdown. Beat Showdown and got the final 20 tickets and the final prize is 5 Ballin is a habit packs. Well my very first pack my last card was Trout! I've been playing Diamond Dynasty ever since it came out years ago and opened hundreds and hundreds of packs maybe even thousands and have never gotten Trout. Feels good!

Online play isn't good enough for me to prestige a card. I am not going to try to collect whatever card it is if prestige is involved since it takes wayyy too long to prestige even one card while dealing with lag and players that pause, take their time between pitches and everything else players do online to be jackasses. I will just sell off all my cards I have that are needed so people that actually want to put up with that BS can.

No one here knows what the hell they're talking about.

The online has always been like this. Wired or wireless, it just is not as good as playing against the CPU or a friend locally. A lot of people that play online adjust and are okay with the lag. Some even exploit it. I rarely play online but I know going in that the experience won't be very good if I do decide to give ranked seasons or battle royale a go. I play mostly offline modes. I have really fast internet too but that doesn't matter.

Congrats on 822. You definitely have skill and likely a monitor and some luck on your side.

I don't get what the big deal was. So what if he took an extra lead? Use your slide step, pitch out or keep throwing over. It's not a guaranteed steal.

SDS needs to do something about people like you. You shouldn't be able to step off the mound every 3 seconds indefinitely. They need to put something in place to ensure that doesn't happen.

I don't know how anyone can bother with online games. Too much lag makes it a different experience than playing a friend on the same TV or the comp. I have to change the way I play. It's not fun.

And until they admit it was a mistake and change it, I (and many others) will keep making this suggestion. I think you are vastly underestimating the size of the “offline” customer base.

They don’t owe you or anyone any admission. They chose to go that route. Does it work perfectly? Of course it doesn’t. Even I get annoyed about how it plays out but I’m not gonna complain and expect them to come out and specifically admit that what they did was wrong? No business would. What you’re expecting from them is assinine

They effectively did in 17 when they moved all the programs to any mode after like the second set.

That was the Griffey Jr year where upgrading him was locked behind a paywall(online) I was gifted some PSN 30 day trials in order to complete all the griffey stuff. Was not fun but I did it. I have PS+ now sharing with a friend but I am just not big on playing online since it's a different experience and not the same/as good as playing against the CPU or a friend on the same PS4. Offline play is vastly superior to online play. SDS just can't get online right.

I've seen him as high as 245,000 and I'm wondering if there's going to be another stub sale. I sold Mariano Rivera for 102000 and I see he's up to like 140000 now. I'll watch Trout closely.

I'd sell soon, I packed 2 yesterday and sold them for 240k each, thought about holding one, but I figured the prices won't go up enough to hold on...

I got my first Trout pull in a pack this year. It was after i got him for my 1st high Diamond pack for Prestige level. And then got him again for Prestige level 90. So 3x this year for me. Makes up for never packing him before

I'm all excited getting him just once and you are like yeah I get him all the time. Anyway, I will probably sell today. Just was curious about him going higher and higher.

I was urged by many here to sell Trout a couple of days ago when I pulled him for the first time. Told me his price would only go down. So I sold him and now he's going for 28,000 stubs more as of now.

Weeks ago I sold boss Rivera because people told me his price wouldn't go much higher. I sold him for 102k and last night his price was at 155k. Shows you that pretty much no one here knows what the hell they are talking about.
