Been stepping off for 12 minutes straight. Guy insists on taking the extra step with Kenny Lofton. I told him I will step off every time since it is already too easy to steal in this game. I even offered him the choice of a friendly quit so we don't waste each others time. He didn't like that option. Now i'm gonna binge watch The Office and hit L1 every 3 seconds

I don't get what the big deal was. So what if he took an extra lead? Use your slide step, pitch out or keep throwing over. It's not a guaranteed steal.
SDS needs to do something about people like you. You shouldn't be able to step off the mound every 3 seconds indefinitely. They need to put something in place to ensure that doesn't happen.

They did.its a max of 3 stepoffs unless the player keeps taking an extra lead.

How fast does a runner have to be? So like a lot of other things this is just another problem with the online play. I don't understand why people keep complaining about this online. It's not good. If you're going to play it you have to realize it's just not that good and adjust.
I've dealt with crazy errors, users taking super long in between each pitch. Guys pausing until there's like one second left and then getting back in the game. Players not reacting and more.
I accept all this [censored] because the online has never been as good as playing against the CPU or a friend locally so that's what you get for choosing to play online. -

Like 70 speed and 70 stealing. What defenders of the extra lead also don’t realize is that the default lead IS a real life extra step. Taking an extra step in game is like taking 2 extra steps in real life. You are basically already at 2nd base

So we are just supposed to say "Oh well" and let it happen because it's a flaw in the game ? Guess what...don't exploit it and I wont step off for 26 minutes straight.

I've tried to Friendly quit with people where the lag was terrible and they said no. I've tried to Friendly quit after striking them out two times in a row the first two batters of the game and they said no. Hell, once I was actually winning 1-0 and tried to Friendly quit with really bad lag and it was still rejected.
I've had to turn my messages off in the past because of the nasty things people would send me if I don't do what they say so you sitting there for 26 minutes hitting one button blows my mind over 1 game. I can almost guarantee you it will be a meaningless win too.
Do you think that other user is going to stop taking an extra lead? To each their own. Not my waste of 26 minutes. I obviously don't take one of the worst things about every single year of this game as seriously as others here.
