While I like the content, the cards are just unusable. The whole program feels like a regress. This whole year has been packs and collections. Very unbalanced and a good way to alienate the majority of players who don’t dedicate a lot of hours to this game. Making World Series and being good at the game means less more than ever with poor rewards and no stub return.

I play it because I love baseball. This is currently the only mainstream baseball with licensing agreements. The only way things change is if enough people speak up about it.

Is it too early to write off this game? The content they have released thus far has been mid at best with all the good cards being hidden in Chase packs or collections. Well, it is too early to talk about content problems, the hitting and fielding mechanics are something that are probably not going to change throughout the lifespan of this game. It is frustrating when you are an above average player and lower opponents are rewarded for bloop hits more than you are for perfect perfects. Lineouts are inevitable in baseball but this is too much. On the other hand, fielding is just absolutely atrocious. It is slow and unresponsive. How does MVP baseball 2005 have better fielding mechanics than a game produced 20 years later. The show 19-21 were peak and now we have this…

The live series collection seems impossible to complete with the prices of some of these cards being so high. I’ve completed a little more than half of the live series collection. At this point, completing the Dodgers and Yankees live series seems impossible due to the fact that judge and
Ohtani are 500,000 stubs. I just don’t get how we are supposed to complete this collection because packs are so dang bad and I’m not dishing out real money to pay for overpriced stubs. I have pulled many 85 overall live series cards worth no more 5000 stubs but that has gotten me no closer because the majority of them are duplicates. Any suggestions or am I just going to have to wait months for when they release 99 overalls that surpass Beltran, Clemens, and Hodges

The game has regressed heavily over the years. Your opinion may be your own but people have the right to complain.

I use cheesy created stadiums such as Costco field to grind for XP. Just about every time you made contact it was a homerun. It seems to me that SDS has limited that in The show 25 and lineouts and the CPU pitchers throwing poor pitches on rookie mode has become more prevalent. They really do not want you to gain as much XP as you can and we know why $$$

At this point the pack odds are absolutely meaningless. I pulled judge like 3 weeks ago and since then I’ve opened maybe 20 BIAH packs, 20 headliners, and about 200 regular packs just to live series Freddie freeman who is worth like 5k stubs. I even bought the premier and deluxe packs as much as possible to try and pull Jorge polanco and nothing but repeats

Anyone else Faced Dustin May and noticed his release is glitchy and hard to pick up the ball out of the hand?

I had multiple opponents quit in the last two days. none of the hits, strikeouts, and runs have counted towards any of the programs because they do not save. Just another thing to add to my list of problems with this game.

I’ve been playing the show for 7 years now. The fielders still have no urgency and everything is so slow. Squared up balls are weakly hit and perfects are outs. I’ve been in 3 freeze offs just today alone. I like that they’ve gone away with sets and seasons but this game blows. Worst MLB the show I’ve played to date. The fan boys will still defend this garbage.

I play on ps5 and have very good internet but the frame rate is awful and makes breaking balls very hard to hit. It feels like I’m playing under water.

Perfect contact with 100+ power can barely get over 100 mph. I know baseball is an unlucky sport but I have had more perfect outs in two days than all of MLB the show 24 combined
