Marketing wise I’d be fine if they showed him but never blantantly said he’d be the honus reward, because imo any card they reveal this year as the honus will be nothing compared to mantle. Mantle may be the greatest card in the history of the show.

The hitting was literally perfect pre patch, no idea why they adjusted that instead of pitch location and pci size. Now it’s a dice roll on how you’re gonna hit a ball. Only issue pre patch was throwing meter and pitch location, but they added so many more things to the point where the game is unplayable now, it was SOOOO fun pre patch. I’m glad Sony Partners and others like Your Friend Kyle are calling for the change to be made to revert hitting and fix pitching

The chase for.... statement could literally just mean the chase for the card and the grind of it, but they wouldn’t say that if it wasn’t a hint, so my theory along with others I’ve seen is that it will be a collection for McGwire and Sosa, because of the chase for the home run record. It also lines up with the popularity after the 30 for 30, so that would be sick if it’s them

Everyother pitch is hung even if you are just early or just late or whatever. Literally impossible to hit your spots. I just tried throwing a fastball at the level of someone’s head, got early so technically it should be higher than normal. But it somehow goes right down the pipe and I lose on a walk off bomb. FML

In my 5 years of diamond dynasty I’ve finally got to CS, I’ve won my last 4 games, and I think I’m like 9-1 for my last 10. I’m usually a DS guy but ive never had the time to grind out and play that many games to take me to CS or WS, but today I decided to play bc I had a little free time and got 3 straight rage quits and another game where I almost mercy ruled, I’m sitting at around 835, I think I need about 3-4 ish games I think to make WS, any tips on how to get there I’m determined to get there now lol

Some of you might not care to hear this but I just won the craziest and most stressful ranked game ever. For some context I just made CS for the first time, and since then I think I’m either 5-1 or 6-1, so I was at 870 ish before this game. So I go into the game, and this dude has a stacked lineup. Prestige’s everywhere, he’s throwing Hal who I cannot hit to save the life of me. At the start of the game nothing too exciting happens, but he hits solo shots with Pablo and someone else. So far I have 1 hit through 5, and then my first batter, Ryne, absolutely tanks a high change up, then I pinch hit for kluber, and Braun hits a tank, tie game. I’m livid, finally back in it, but then first batter for him takes me deep. Throughout the game my opponent got so many base runners, I think he had bases loaded 4 times. It stays 3-2 until the bottom of the eighth, where bellinger absolutely rocks one off fingers. 3-3. By this point me and my opponent were trading pitchers left and right, I had used all but 2, he had used all but 1. I was getting no chances, but my opponent was getting so many an inning, always having at least 1 base runner on. So fast forward it’s the top of the 13th now, I’m so stressed, and it’s Jose Alvarado’s 2nd inning pitching. I start out good getting 2 outs, then a bunt single, a walk, and my opponent tanks one with his CAP to make it 6-3. My heart stops, I should have located that fastball but it went to the complete opposite direction I put it, so I get the final out and move on. I instantly ground out to Lodolo, but then Ellsbury bloops one up the middle. I’m still sad at this point, but then Ryne disintegrates a high changeup, making it 6-5. Now my cap is up (Prince Fielder) and he rocks one, tie game. Now my pitcher is up, I sub him out for aldalberto mondesi, but strikeout. It’s now Jackie vs. Nenn, and Jackie is down 0-2, but a away slider on the corner gets lasered, barely scrapping over the wall for the win. I freak out and start yelling “LETS GOOOOOOO” and am now 1 win away from reaching World Series for the first time

But you play a made up baseball game with made up cards with made up stadiums and where I can have Babe Ruth play on the same team as Shohei Ohtani? And like, 50% of the cards in this game are not based on real life performance at all? Do you use all live series cards?

Bruh it’s 50/1 odds on standard packs, I’ve opened like 70 and have gotten one diamond, I also usually spend a decent amount on the game. Odds seem fair among people it’s probably just bad luck, and gambling is gambling

So I spelt the name “Michael” wrong. That’s an easy mistake. If I had spelt his last name wrong then yeah it’d be a big deal. But it’s literally the name Michael and I switched two letters. It’s the least big deal ever

He’s by no means the best fielder in the world, nor does he have a great arm, but giving him the worst arm for any diamond and I think gold outfielder is insane. The way they make him out to be he is the worst fielder in baseball. This man is a former gold glover. He does not butcher 10 balls a year. And he has by no means the arm strength of a 9 year old. In fact, I’ve seen 9 year olds throw harder than what Yelich seems to throw in game. But seriously why?
