They could be core cards.
-
Set 4 was a chance to blow the doors open on this game, instead they kinda shut it down with more of the same mind numbing grind to collect cards that have no use.
-
A 3 inning game is like 15 minutes.
-
That is so frustrating. It's happened to me several times.

Had the exact same experience upgrading from XB1 to XBS. MLB 22 was the first game l played and it's insane. Graphic upgrades + 60 FPS + rapid load times = big gains.
It's even better going from series S to X.

It makes about as much sense as some of the secondary positions they gave to some of the program cards.
In no world ever should a guy with 28 HR over a 19 year career have 99 power.
And Pudge and Posada shouldn’t have 2B eligibility. I don’t disagree with you, I'm just saying both have the same degree of ridiculousness.
At least they’ve played at least an inning there. Lindor hasn’t played anywhere but SS majors or minors but still has 2B and 3B as secondaries
But this is the way secondaries should actually be handled. An athletic shortstop like Lindor can without a doubt play 2nd or 3rd. Even though he never plays elsewhere, those are his “secondary” positions. Pudge and Posada have it slapped on there is just because someone was able to go read Baseball Reference and go “oh Jorge played an inning there and Pudge played two”. Just because someone played an inning or even a game somewhere, does not mean it was there secondary position and just because someone never plays a different position doesn’t mean they don’t have a secondary.
You can’t have it both ways, either they played it and have a secondary or they didn’t and they shouldn’t. There should be a cut off of innings or something 1 inning or 4 innings shouldn’t justify giving a secondary. Ripken’s finest doesn’t have a secondary and he was athletic enough to start and end his career at 3B.
I agree that it’s strange for Ripken not to have a third baseman secondary. It was a major factor in his longevity. He was a good playing at third.
It's because the card is based on 1984 and he played every game at SS.

I mean, it's called extreme for a reason.

Anyone know the what to do for the mystery missions?
I know the free pass one is taking 3 walks in a game. Not sure what the Mendoza one is.
I wonder if it could be everyone on your team hitting above .200 in a game? Which would basically be everyone getting a hit.

You don't need a created stadium to hit homeruns
-
Take pitches and get deep into the count. Showdown will ruin you if you are not patient.

My Point is that these programs are BORING, Repeatitive & Not at all exciting or motivating to do.
You don't actually have to do the program.
-
It shouldn't matter if there's a universal DH, this is a video game and they implement players that are career DH so it should be a game with no pitchers hitting.
-
Why is it always assumed that a perfectly hit ball needs to be a HR? Was this ever mentioned somewhere?
-
It could be that his delivery is slower and that makes his FB seem faster than 102.
-
Nolan Ryan should be extremely difficult to hit, he has 7 no hitters and 12 1-hitters...on top of 5,714 K's. That said, sit fastball and you'll beat him in Showdown.

Buy everything, you can't take it with you....I left '19 with over 1 million stubs I think. Flipping cards is so easy that you can buy what you need while also making stubs to buy what you want.

Finest Moncada is pretty great at 3rd
-
I think it's more than just inside pitch = pop-up, launch angle determines where the ball flies.
-
I just use moments as PCI practice. I found that trying directional did nothing to make things easier for me.
