is class action suit worthy.

It’s not funny. You might be ok with paying for something that doesn’t work, a lot of people aren’t.
Never said it was ok...but class action lawsuit? Lmmfao
New York-based Rosen Law Firm has filed a class-action lawsuit against Cyberpunk 2077's publisher CD Projekt S.A. due to its alleged violation of federal securities laws.
Announced in a press release, Rosen Law Firm is filing the class-action lawsuit on behalf of purchasers of the securities of CD Projekt S.A. between January 16, 2020 and December 17, 2020, and is seeking to "recover damages for CD Projekt investors under the federal securities laws."The lawsuit claims that CD Projekt has "made false and/or misleading statements" and/or failed to disclose that "Cyberpunk 2077 was virtually unplayable on the current-generation Xbox or PlayStation systems due to an enormous number of bugs."

You think CD Projekt Red thinks the idea is Lmmfao?
Just because you dont know something, you dont have to make yourself look foolish by pretending you do. A little humility goes a long way.
This is a suit for investors, not consumers.
In a case like this all SDS would have to do to avoid any sort of action is fix the issue and offer some form of good will gesture.
The gesture is not required but goes along way when a case is being reviewed for any potential case.
In the end if a class action suit is raise and Sony and SDS lose then their insurance would cover them and any looses but wouldn't change much as the servers would have been restored by that time.
