See, you’re confused. I couldn’t care less about getting a hard time or being discredited. What I want is for this game to meet a respectable standard that we all spent hard earned money on. Sure it’s only $100 blah blah but money is money and when we spend money on a service we expect it to meet a certain standard. This game isn’t even worth $5 let alone $100. I really believe them charging money for this game is borderline illegal and is false advertising.

Fair enough, so post that. Trust me dude, this game frustrates me for other reasons. They hacked apart the content and it's just not nearly as fun as last year. It just seems a little pointless to just state this game sucks...worst ever. But do what you wanna do.

As for legends, you should match anyone out there but for whatever reason some of the biggest names in Tigers history aren't in the game (Ty Cobb, Hank Greenberg, Sam Crawford, Harry Heilman etc). I still expect some great cards for Curtis Granderson, Miggy, Verlander, Newhouser, Al Kaline, Kirk Gibson, possibly Scherzer, Prince Fielder and others. Oh Pudge too. I've always had a soft spot for the Tigers. We should not have won the 2006 series (glad we did) but what a team you had. Had it not been for your early round dominance and subsequent 8 or 9 day layoff, I think that would have ended differently. I wish Magglio was in the game. I predict a Lou Whitaker, they’re retiring his number this season.

@ericulous1_psn said in How to reduce throwing errors?: How exactly does button accuracy work? Do you all reccomend a throwing meter as well? I play mostly offline but I'd like to get better and be able to play more online. Button accuracy is basically just a metered option. You hold the button of the base you want to throw to and let go when it gets into the green "good" range. The size of the green area is affected by the players stats as well as if he is making a routine play or not. Also with this option on throw from the OF there is a "perfect" line which gives you the most accurate throws during plays to help throw guys out on the paths at at home (also helps for best relay animations). Takes a second to get used to the speed but once you use it, there is no reason to use anything else. Pretty much removes any throwing errors outside your own mistakes.

Good stuff. I’ll add another excerpt: “On the year as a whole, Contreras is enjoying career-best marks in several categories. His .391 OBP (On-base Percentage) is the highest of his career and his .865 OPS is the second-highest of his career. His 19.6 strikeout percentage is the lowest mark of his career and a drastic improvement over 2021’s ugly 28.6 strikeout percentage (which was his highest ever). In baseball’s current landscape, there is almost no production from the catcher position across the league, making Contreras’ red-hot start stand out even more. Among all major league catchers, Contreras is first in runs scored (24), third in home runs (5), second in walks (16), third in batting average (.263), first in on-base percentage (.391), first in slugging percentage (.474) and first in OPS (.865). To truly highlight how weak the catcher spot has been so far in 2022, there are just three catchers holding an OPS north of 700 (Contreras, Daulton Varsho of Arizona with a .790 mark and Keibert Ruiz of Washington with a .726). Contreras is miles ahead of the majority of the league.” https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.sportsmockery.com/chicago-cubs/will-he-be-dealt-potential-landing-spots-for-willson-contreras/%3Famp. Yeah, but his list had Austin Hedges in the #1 spot with a whopping .248 career OBP and .193 career batting avg and a career WAR of 0.6. If you're gonna compete with legendary sluggers like that, you need real stats.
Come on Bob...do better

Do you remember how many stubs you received for collecting them (see discussion above). I believe it was 20K plus 50K XP.
The Cardinals will have an opening at Catcher at the end of the year. You think we can bridge our rivalry long enough to make a fair trade?
Yeah, DeRosa and Matty V were great. The thing that bothers me is they had a full stream about this feature as a selling point. It demonstrates how disconnected they are from their own game and community. Did they really think this was a need/feature/benefit? And everyone hates this commenrary.

Hey, DM me. I've been making 100k a day, finished the LS collection and am now just buying the cards I want. The market it workable but you have to stop flipping small cards and move into deeper waters.
I'm at 130K. I think 500k is doable, my only worry is there aren't more ways to get big chunks of xp. But if they implement double xp, I think we'll get there. Mini seasons is a great way to move the needle.

I definitely felt this way about Manny for many years, but truly he seems to have grown up a bit. And no I'm not jaded because I live in SD. I'm a Cards fan for life. But last year when Tatis was acting out because of the Padres collapse it was Manny who yelled at him in the dugout to stop acting so selfish and be a team player. Maybe I'm over optimistic but since he came to SD he really seems to have grown up. If these things didn't pop up last year when the Pads took a massive nose dive, not sure we can expect them.
But I will freely admit I could be wrong. It really sucked the way he played for the Dodgers and O's and all the antics you mentioned.

I don't understand why the first few missions say repeatable but then Those ones say "can be completed once per season" when they are all repeatable missions that can only be done once per season. Ok, I always interpreted the "once a season" to mean once before May 31st when the new season starts (like every month is a new season like BR and RS). But you're saying "once a season" means every time I start a new season I can do it again? Yes indeed. Every season I try to knock out the Strikeouts and stolen bases as quick as possible so I can load my lineup with who I really want.

I did that and had David Justice in my lineup and he inadvertently became my favorite card so far.
But yeah, I feel like I haven't used Pujols on ages. I haven't used many of the LS collection pieces so it'll be fun to load up those on a roster and try them out.
