That's what I'm doing, I understand how to link, but the linking process gets an error on my Playstation account. I am able to link my Xbox account just fine.
When I do the linking process, I receive a 'Platform Exclusivity' error on Playstation and nobody from SDS seems to have a solution.

Yes it happened to me. Go to the show app and sign out. Then sign back in inder your playstation account, or whatever one you are trying to get to. It will not let u sign in on ps5 if your signed into your other account on the app. Hope that helps
Thanks for the help, but that isn't my issue exactly. It's an account linking issue between MLB The Show and my PSN. I can link my Xbox account fine.

Login to MLB on your Xbox/PS5, go to your profile and get the link account code. Login to your MLB The Show account on here and connect via that code.
Emailed support again looking for help, we'll see if they get something back but I doubt it. It's made playing on Xbox pointless since all my progress is on PS5.
As the title says, I am able to link my Xbox account with my MLBTS account with no issues.
Whenever I login to my Playstation account on theshow.com, it shows linked to this MLBTS account. However when I login to this MLBTS account, there's no associated Playstation account. When I generate a code, I receive :"An error occurred while trying to link accounts: platform exclusivity" when trying to officially link the two.
This has been a problem since MLB 21, I've contacted SDS multiple times and haven't heard back in a month and a half.
Has anyone found a fix for this issue?
Still having this issue - it's been a year that I haven't been able to cross-play Xbox & Playstation progress.

When I login to theshow.com through my PS5 account, it shows it's connected to a theshow.com account, however when I login to the same theshow.com account via the username, my PS5 account does not appear.
When I attempt to link my account via the code from in game on my PS5, I receive a 'platform exclusivity error' - it's essentially my PS5 account shows it's connected to a theshow.com account, however that theshow.com account does not have the PSN registered.
