Well like I said, this outfit is owned by the Sony Corporation, unlike EA sports or some other specialty company that only develops and sell video games. Sony is a monster and don't need the cash.

ETA: what they really need to do is fix their issues with being able to manufacture enough PS5 units to supply the market. That is a real embarrassment on their part.

Just because they "don't" need it, doesn't mean that they would forgo it.

So i was able to play on 120 hz in batting practice but you cant do it online? Its a shame because the input on swings was crisp… early on chapman on legend

I think online will not support it for a while because of Switch and last gen.

thats so stupid if true, if you own a next gen. you shouldnt be hindered because other consoles cant run it.

It’s a competitive advantage; they do not want people dropping the game. It makes sense.

?? competive adavantage, just turn off cross play, if i spent more on something I should be able to run my system at a higher quality. If people complain its unfair, then thats just soft.

okay and ? turn cross play off and the advantage wont be there. Sick and tired of hearing about how money and people cant get them, I may sound entitled but its ridiculous we havent got a truly dedicated PS5 version of mlb the show. Madden and 2k both have next gen versions, the only difference with 22 next gen to old gen is create a stadium and load times.

Not just the show, we hardly have any ps5 exclusives. Everything is still being "dumbed down" for last gen.

Ehh. I can see it from both sides. On one there are tons of people who aren't as fortunate as I am, but on the other it sucks to have an expensive piece of hardware that has yet to be catered too. It's basically a ps4++

If they start dropping FF7 Remake pt.2 and FF16 on next gen exclusively and there's still a shortage, then I may cry.

We just bought a second disc version ps5 for $740 on ebay (free shipping).

The price is down considerably. When I but mine over a year ago I spent nearly 1300.

Wow, I got my ps5 last January and paid just under $900 through stockx, surprised supply is still an issue

Unless you are stuck in the lowest divisions of Ranked Seasons then you will have a hard time getting me to believe that 50% are using timing or directional.

Ok let me re-phrase that 600 level and under are using timing. I know once I get past 600 it'll be better but getting there is a horrible experience so far.

But why? Timing is so OP, all those players should easily be at those higher levels, as you said they crush everything

I would venture to say no, because no one is really unbiased. If you play this game you are biased one way or the other.
