Jimenez isn't a name you hear often when people talk about adding legends to the game but his delivery would be nasty. That would be a hard one to pick up as a hitter.

Yeah mine has been that way for at least a month or so. I normally wouldn't have even noticed but I played a guy with custom uniforms of the high school I went to. I was going to message him afterward but my recent played list was empty.

If SDS is going to stay with some type of "seasons" approach next year I think quite a few legends need to be added, even if they aren't your superstar guys like they added this year with Jeter, Sosa and McGwire. My top 10 of guys minus your huge names like Bonds, Williams and Cobb would be

1. Cargo
2. Ellis Burks
3. Travis Hafner
4. Jose Fernandez
5. Dale Murphy
6. Johan Santana
7. Dave Winfield
8. Mario Soto
9. Darryl Strawberry
10. Doc Gooden

NMS and how many times a stream they mention they are playing on legend. If anyone decided to play a drinking game with some of those streams and drink everytime they mentioned they were on legend you’d get alcohol poisoning within 30 minutes.

Someone else brought this up in a different thread and they said that it was because SDS had said for current players, they were basing quirks on last year's performance and since Tatis didn't play last year was the reason he had no quirks. I believe another one that has no quirks that stood out was Chris Sale and that was the same case for him.

The ratings on the Tatis card look good but no quirks are kind of a deal breaker to me. I'd sell, get the stubs and build out the squad with who you want.

I honestly think the no quirks was a mistake and will get added in the next roster updated because doesn't his live series card have zero quirks as well. I could be wrong but I'd almost guarantee they add them later.

Switch hitting Endy Rodriguez has a great swing. Gonna rock with him until I can get Posada at some point.

You just said you were liking the cards you play with. Isn't that the whole point.

I'm sitting on the four each of the Diamond and Gold Mission players and 2 of the Bronze players packs along with my Flawless pack.

Going to sell them off. But don't know if I should sell before the new program drops or wait to see if these packs arent included.

I'm pretty sure last year it wasn't until the 3rd BR season that they had the rewind packs but I'm not 100% sure. I do remember that it wasn't too long after they implemented the rewind packs that they then released George Brett. I went ahead and sold off all my BR cards and event cards except Mookie.

Was going to say the exact same thing. A certain one has one of the first comments to every MLB the show twitter account tweet advertising his service.

Yeah they still accrue to general offline properly. Let's say you have a new card you haven't used and the first time you use him is in mini seasons and he hits 3 homeruns. Odds are your stats that show up when he comes to bat in mini seasons are going to be wrong, but once you are out of the game and go to your inventory and look at the stats for that one card, his offline stats will show those 3 homeruns.

Ok I’m gonna explain this one more time!!! When a player dashboards (meaning disconnects from the server without properly requesting to quit) it’s like the matchup never happened. These are peer to peer servers meaning there is a host (one of the two players). Hopefully the player with the theoretical better connection. When a dashboard occurs it sends the lone remaining player back to a lobby this is why the dashboarder takes the loss and the other guy takes a win. If these were dedicated servers than dashboarding wouldn’t be an issue because the server doesn’t close therefore recording the info from the game. Problem is dedicated servers are far too expensive to waste on a game where 2 people are playing at a time. SDS is not going to sink millions into technology which doesn’t benefit them. No sports game uses dedicated server due to this issue. Not madden, not fifa, or not pga golf or any other game where there are only two users. COD uses dedicated servers because they can have 100’s of people in one lobby at a time. But it didn’t used to be that way. This is why your stats will never count in a dashboard situation. Now there is no reason that SDS can’t implement cool downs to curb this behavior. I guess they figure that they would penalizing too many people that have legit disconnects due to bandwidth issues or other isp related problems. My personal opinion is, that if your internet connection isn’t sufficient to not affect the game you probably shouldn’t be subjecting yourself or your opponent to it either. Just my take though!

Got to the Championship series and it says I lost without ever having played a game in the series. Anybody else seen this. That’s quite a grind to have that happen!!!

oh mate that is horrible - should i just hold off on finishing my mini seasons? i was on that lefty lefty one halfway through

I was thinking the same thing...I have 2 mini seasons that I am close to the playoffs in....I wanna do them especially for the TA vouchers but don't wanna waste 56 games to get auto losses in the playoffs (I don't mind THAT much if I can't change my lineup - I can live with that even tho it sucks)...because of the bans and stuff I actually have played all the mini seasons games just in case to be safe. It's a lot of hours invested!

It's just a visual glitch. I've had this happen both times I started the playoffs in mini season. When you load it up is says on the screen you lost, however it lets you play the game and once you win you will be winning the series 1-0.

Yeah for some reason I don't think there is a setting to turn wind off this year. In the slider settings there is an option to turn down the effect the wind has but I'm not sure if that works for DD.
