Do you guys ever get that glitch where you're in whatever your batter view is, there is a ball in the dirt, the camera pans out to show the defense view and for this split second it looks like the ball goes through the catchers legs and is going all the way to the backstop....but no the catcher has the ball. When the game first came out that got me a couple times as I immediately sent my guy to second.

Ya know, I've never really even thought about this but that is actually a really interesting idea to kind of shake things up.

Someone else brought this up in a different thread and they said that it was because SDS had said for current players, they were basing quirks on last year's performance and since Tatis didn't play last year was the reason he had no quirks. I believe another one that has no quirks that stood out was Chris Sale and that was the same case for him.

That's the great thing though, the strike zone size changes with each batter. Like Judge's strike zone is way bigger than someone like Altuve or Joe Morgan.

I hope he just keeps going up and up cause the last thing I want to see is that card in everyone's rotation.

You may want to check out the Wolverine V2 Pro for the ps5. It's shaped more like the xbox controllers with the left thumbstick up in the left corner instead of directly across from the right thumbstick. Not gonna lie, it is pricey but I had totally abandoned playing on the ps5 and only played on the xbox because of the controller until I picked that up around Christmas. Now I'm back to only playing on the ps5 and there also isn't that slight lag that some people notice while hitting with the regular ps5 controller. It has been a total game changer for me.

I have a PS5 that I've been playing the Show on since I got the game in May. I'm in the same boat as you as I only played franchise and RTTS until this year and decided to try DD and now I'm hooked. I recently bought a Series S for Halo and had no intentions of playing the Show on Xbox even though it was free on Gamepass. I decided to start a new account just so I could go back through and grind everything again since I need the practice anyways and had all the cards that I wanted to get on this ps5 account. Last week a friend of mine tells me that he switched to playing on xbox because the ps5 had a lag issue with the controller possibly and that his timing improved when he went to xbox. So I decided since I'm going to start the new account anyways I'll just start it on Xbox. I cannot express enough the difference in hitting for me on the Series S compared to the ps5. On ps5 I couldn't catch up to outlier to save my life and I've been on xbox for about a week now and it is so much easier on there to hit guys like Degrom and Verlander. At least for me it is. I know guys who play on ps5 that absolutely rake so it may have just been an issue with my ps5. When it comes to other aspects of the game I don't see much of a difference. The ps5 the game probably overall played smoother than on the Series S but that may not even be an issue on the X.

Also when people are putting in that many buy orders for a common at 5 stubs, there may not be much reward but there is also no risk which is about all you can do in the market at this time.

Thank you!! I always see on here that people pick max elevation because they can't hit which may be the case sometimes but it's usually the opposite. For ranked seasons and BR where wins matter I usually try to pick a mid elevation stadium but for events I'm going max elevation.

That takashi legend pack pretty much tells me that there is going to be one or two more in the reward path for Friday's program too.

Have had a horrible day at work and opened this up and all I had to see was the title of this thread and knew everything would be all better!

I had a different pinch hit glitch the other day. I pinch hit for my pitcher with Nelson Cruz in the top of the 7th. When it comes to the bottom of the 7th I accidentally backed out of the pitcher selection screen so Cruz had to stay in which I get that was my fault and is supposed to happen. In the meantime I have Soto and Lopez warming up in the pen. Cruz pitches to the first two batters and gets flyouts, then pitches to the 3rd batter and gives up a double. So he's pitched to his 3 batters and I bring in Lopez who gets an out to end the inning.

This is where it gets weird, I bat in the top of the 8th with my 1-3 hitters and get 3 outs. The bottom of the 8th comes around and I'm expecting Lopez to still be pitching. NOPE, it's Nelson Cruz again!! I'm thinking what on earth is going on and go to my pen to take him out. There is Lopez who just pitched the last out in the bottom of the 7th warming up in my pen and once again they won't let me take Cruz out until he throws to 3 batters. Cruz gives up 2 singles and then gets a pop out so I once again bring in Lopez. He finishes the inning again and then the bottom of the 9th he started just like he should and everything went back to normal. Definitely one of the weirder things to happen to me in this game.

Russ is just straight up weird.

Got to the Championship series and it says I lost without ever having played a game in the series. Anybody else seen this. That’s quite a grind to have that happen!!!

oh mate that is horrible - should i just hold off on finishing my mini seasons? i was on that lefty lefty one halfway through

I was thinking the same thing...I have 2 mini seasons that I am close to the playoffs in....I wanna do them especially for the TA vouchers but don't wanna waste 56 games to get auto losses in the playoffs (I don't mind THAT much if I can't change my lineup - I can live with that even tho it sucks)...because of the bans and stuff I actually have played all the mini seasons games just in case to be safe. It's a lot of hours invested!

It's just a visual glitch. I've had this happen both times I started the playoffs in mini season. When you load it up is says on the screen you lost, however it lets you play the game and once you win you will be winning the series 1-0.

Yeah mini season stat tracking def doesn't work. When I first got Rafael Devers Charisma card, the very first time I used him in my lineup for anything whatsoever, his first time to the plate was in mini seasons it said he was hitting .328 with 6 homeruns. He had two at bats that game and then a couple minutes later in his second mini season game he comes to the plate and it now says he's hitting .475 with 3 homeruns. When actually my real mini season and just overall in general stats for him was 1-2 with a single. However when I backed out of mini season and went to my inventory, I checked his stats for offline vs cpu and it showed the correct stats so it's just a mini seasons issue, not overall stat tracking.

Do the stats you accrue in MS translate to general offline v. CPU? Or are they separate? Thanks.

Yeah they still accrue to general offline properly. Let's say you have a new card you haven't used and the first time you use him is in mini seasons and he hits 3 homeruns. Odds are your stats that show up when he comes to bat in mini seasons are going to be wrong, but once you are out of the game and go to your inventory and look at the stats for that one card, his offline stats will show those 3 homeruns.

You just said you were liking the cards you play with. Isn't that the whole point.
