After winning my 5th WC game I didn't get the weekend classic rewind pack. After that game it just said I get a pack for every win. Will it drop later, am I missing something or am in just out of luck?

The simplest answer is that I have always made a nice profit flipping equipment in years past.

I am holding as well as there just is not much risk to waiting with prices bottomed out. The comments in the video suggest the method does not work anymore, so perhaps that may help some, but I agree that equipment will not have the same appeal it has in years past with the changes to the cap. Oh well, over the course of the game cycle I suppose 150k is relatively not that much.

I really paid a price for leaving open orders last night on equipment items. Those have been my go to flips the last few years. When I started playing today I saw all my purchases went through and the items had lost nearly all their value.

Great to see they left open an exploit on RTTS that was posted on YouTube (and apparently TikTok before that). Now we get the ancillary benefit of increased prices on LS cards thanks to the increased injection of stubs into the market. Not an ideal start to the year for me. Of course, I guess some made a very nice windfall off the exploit.

I like the dualsense Edge on PS5 and the Elite 2 on XB.

Strikeout rate and whiff rate plays a large part of the vision attribute.

Aaron Judge? Baseball Savant shows Judge being in the 13 percentile in strikeout rate! They also have him in the 3 percentile in whiff rate as well. This is the reason why he has low vision!

Kyle Schwarber? Baseball Savant has him in the 14 percentile in strikeout rate and in the 8 percentile for whiff rate. So, yeah, he has low vision as well!

Ok, Trout is a great hittet, Ohtani is a great hitter. Both have average vision at best.

This is debatable to me. Based on strikeouts or whiff rate I would agree. However, Trout has and has historically had one of the best barrel percentages in baseball and a low chase rate. He also walks a lot. Those seem relevant to the concept of "vision".

The thing I find interesting is that these cards often limit vision for Trout, Judge and others, but when it comes to power stats they seem to be more forgiving.

I use express VPN and have had no problems with watching out of market games the past two years.

Yes, the GOAT is back in force. The SDS statisticians need to send him an apology for the insult and rethink their models. Trout has seven seasons (eight counting 2022) with an OPS higher than Acuna's best OPS season. Even with a huge slump, he is tied for second in ops this year.

Moments aren’t baseball. They are busy work with a baseball skin.

This sums it up for me. I have always considered moments my chores and began to resent content tied to them. Only Red Dead Redemption making me do actual in game chores was more annoying. I spend my time building my collection, so I want to play games with the team I build, not playing anti-climatic scenarios. The only moment I will want to play in the future is the moment that these chores are taken out of the game.

I would try not to worry about it too much. I opened my first 20 packs and did not even get a silver, much less a gold or diamond. I bought a 50 pack and opened some reward packs and pulled Trout and a couple of 85 diamonds. As an Angels fan, I am thrilled to get him so early this year. It is all probabilities and over the course of the season the law of large numbers will pan out for you.

Not even one silver in 20 packs. The odds did not pan out this time.
