Since the start of the show in 06 or 07 after new hardware launched we got 3 last gen games and thats it, I think they extended it this time due to covid making it hard to get next gen consoles in the beginning.
At some point you need to say goodbye to last gen and move on.

I want realignment, they had it in 989s MLB series they should have kept it when they became the show.

Is this a PS4 issue? I had corrupted files on PS4 the last 2 years but it hasn't happened on the PS5 since I got it in May.
