well they finally added custom batting practice where you can work on one pitch in one location so don't worry you will learn to hit it this year

. i would say learn to visualize hitting it the way you want to. if you can't visualize it then you won't be able to do it.

watch real life hitters on youtube clappin' it opposite field to get it down visually, once you learn to visualize it your fine motor skills will pick it up.

it will happen over night, you will practice and practise and get no results, then suddenly one day you will wake up and you will know how to hit it.

Focus on release point and follow the ball. That’s it.

this is decent advice.

I will say, out of bitterness, that left-handed players are naturally just going to be better at PCI placement.

They really need an alternate swing button mechanic with the PCI placement using the right hand.

I imagine practicing any fine motor skills with your left hand will reap more benefits than this drill. Brushing your teeth, writing, eating, wiping your 'power swing' generator ...

You can do this if you want with ps5 and switch the analog sticks in the controls

Why can't they just let us upload our own logos? I'm sure they're trying to cut down on inappropriate or offensive images, but last year I played a dude with swastikas on his jersey and whose CAP was hitler, so it's not like their current rules do anything anyway.

I played EASHL once and one guys CAP name was along the lines of buying and selling black people, with the offensive name deliberately misspelled to pass through censors. I tweeted it to EASPORTSNHL. Swastikas is a whole nother offense that is so obvious. How does that get through censors?

Yeah, thankfully it's not the norm, but it's definitely not uncommon to run into someone with hate speech on their uniform, team name, and/or CAP. I always report players but I never know if SDS or PSN does anything about it.

A couple years ago I played a guy whose CAP was a racial slur. I didn't want to waste my time playing someone who was obviously a toxic arizona d-bag, so I offered a FQ, he declined, and I just quit the game. I email SDS and told them they should reverse the loss on my RS record because it was their own filters that allowed that garbage to slip through. I got a (prompt, courteous) response back that said sorry but no lol.

For shooters yes, obviously. There is an entire screen where you can freely move the mouse around for pinpoint accuracy. Not to mention the recoil control to just pull the mouse slightly down.

Now back to this game, where you have to deal with this little box of the strike zone and on top of that the tight feeling PCI that automatically re-centers after every slight movement. It's a totally different world comparing this to shooters and I honestly believe a mouse would actually work counterproductive for this game.

Sean is talking about taking away the re-center, so basically it would become point and click. That would be a huge advantage with a mouse.

In that case I'd agree that it would be an unfair advantage. But with the way the game currently works, I'd have no issue if my opponent wants to use a mouse and keyboard. In fact I think my chances against Rebel would increase if he used a mouse and keyboard instead of sticks.

There is no way to use a mouse in the current game. The rubber banding effect makes the mouse ineffective. It just jitters. People have tried it and have failed. They have been trying to work around it and the rubber banding is the mechanism that stops it.

Ability to have 3 colors on your hat, like the Expos did
