I'm trying to get Julio and at 65 points with just two get 1 HR moments left, a couple of the stats missions, and the the collection and exchange.

For some reason the Mitch moment isn't getting me to 67, I've crushed two no doubt HRs and it said SUCCESS and neither time has it counted or checked off the moment.

Is there some weird rules to this August POTM like the Stages last year, or is this just broken for me?

He tried to bunt twice I think in the 7th and I barely made the out.

It wasn't one of those, it was 11pm (so most likely not a little kid up that late on a school night) and it was a close game. I think I only had 5-6 strikeouts so nothing outrageous. Tons of ground balls, a few DPs, and a few close call deep fly to OF. Other guys was pitching well too since I only scored 2 runs.

What is a DP?

Does drag bunting at the timing we swing or pointing down make a difference? The UI says just point left or right, and when I just hold bunt it just makes an easy out. Definitely bunting on a pitch high is a bad idea but man I can't bunt for [censored] no matter what

I'm doing it because I'm dumb but yeah that Trea Turner is gonna be great. I always hit well with his LS cards in the beginning of the year

Do you have other lineups? Enter and back out and enter Events again in case he was in your lineup the last time you played Events and it just needs to reset (maybe BR too I don't play it)

The CAP still outclasses them overall, has 100s for power and contact except 95 PvL on mine, 90+ fielding and blocking, 98 and 99 for his arm, and 69 SPD.

Posada is a good bat but he's a snail. Wieters is probably 2nd best overall

Personally I thought Banks was good at times but I was inconsistent with him, I haven't used the Awards Bryant but I used his LS at the beginning of the year and liked it. Maybe Bryant first, then Banks unless Banks is going for a good deal.

You've got a good amount of sinkers so maybe try McGee first, I rarely face either but I have heard several people say that Britton's new delivery hurts him. How do you like that new Smoltz CP?

Playing the AL Central Ruth moments and managed to hit a good ball in the 1st. The slow running and incredibly unequipped to play LF Killebrew robbed a ball almost two feet above the wall lol

Prime Darvish - mainly 2 pitch mix; slider with "knee buckler" quirk & cutter which doesn't need a quirk this year it's so good

Prime Oswalt - mainly 2 pitch mix; sinker with "sinkerballer" quirk which is probably tied with the Cutter as best 2 pitches in game & 12-6 curve with "knee buckler"

Prestige Oswalt on the other hand adds "cheesy" to 4 seam fastball which could be a difference maker

do you have more success throwing sliders or 12-6? they each have both but with opposite "quirks". Cutter or "Sinkerballer" ? plan on prestiging Oswalt? you could easily have success with both if used accordingly to your style

Those pitcher quirks don't do anything they just mean the pitch reaches a certain threshold in break and maybe control. It's just meant to be an easy way to figure out what pitches are good.

This site Daddy Leagues has the pitch stats for most guys, highly recommend using it.

They're fairly similar but Darvish is much more of wild strikeout guy whereas Oswalt is easier to hit but has 5 decent pitches and a lot of control, more pitch to contact. Darvish has a nasty cutter and slider and the 12-6 .
