I believe your stats will go up or down slowly, but you will not receive any put outs or assists towards your next archetype. The easiest way to get to the next archetype is through fielding. If you're building a player for DD this is a must. If not, you'll stay in the minors longer. If you already have them, might as well put it to none.

It’s pretty annoying, but I’ve had the reverse problem since last year. I like the two-handed follow-through and it reverts back to one-handed.

They still release Astros cards from the year they were caught cheating so I'm sure there will be some sort of flashback for Cano. His HRD card in 20 was pretty nasty

Why does it matter? It's just options to use cards you would never use there live series card for.. FOr instance i wouldn't use Travis D'Arnaud's live series, but dam i crush the ball with his postseason 99 card... so Can't complain. Also, it's nice to use modern players. Live Series are irrelevant after the first month of the game and really only matter for the collection.

From what I've seen the good players do, best player available everywhere, and know which silvers/bronzes are the steals. See: Luke Voit
